All Alone Mutation Pack

Description
I wanted to bring the "survival" feel back to Left 4 Dead 2, something I felt it was entirely missing. you have plenty of resources, can carry more bullets than you have room in your pockets, and zombies hit you with the strength of a malicious grapefruit. Not very survival-y, is it?
This mod aims to fix that, and make a mutation suited for those lone wolves out there. Overall, the aim is to create a gamemode that's eerily calm yet constantly keeps you on your toes at the same time.
This mod includes the standard version of "All Alone", a version that brings back Special Infected known as "Especially Alone", the much more unforgiving "Truly Alone", a variant made for marksmanship known as "Zombie Season", and a survival mode called "Standing Alone". All of these mutations can be found in the Mutation menu. I've also now included a variant called "Armed Alone" which gives you reserve ammo for your primaries, but combines several of the more challenging features from Zombie Season and Truly Alone to balance it out. Also this mod now includes the (previously standalone) 2 player co-op version known as "Almost Alone". Special thanks to Qwazzy for helping develop it.

"All Alone" features:
-No teammates (AI or human). This is a solo mutation, like Last Man on Earth.
-No special infected (except the standard two Tanks at the finale).
-Zombies move 50% faster than the player. You can't run from your problems!
-Zombies take significantly less damage everywhere except the head.
-Zombies spawn less often, but...
-They can kill you in 8 hits on easy, 4 hits on normal, 2 hits on advanced and 1 hit on expert.
-Zombie alertness is increased, meaning they can detect you from farther away and sneaking becomes more difficult.
-Tanks have reduced health and slightly reduced speed.
-No hordes/mobs of zombies means you can take your time to search around and make sure every zombie in the area is taken care of.
-Shoving once causes a cooldown before you can shove again. No more shove spamming zombies away!
-You can only carry one magazine/clip of ammo for each primary weapon. If that runs out, you need to find an ammo pile or a new weapon.
-No bullet tracers.
-Pipebomb detonation timer lowered to 2 seconds. Give those molotovs and bilebombs a chance!
-Length of Adrenaline speed effects doubled to 30 seconds. Shove away to your hearts content!
-M60s replaced with Grenade Launchers. It's this or torsos chasing after you.
-Explosive Ammo replaced with Incendiary Ammo. Explosive Ammo doesn't play nicely with the Sniper Rifles in this mutation. :c
-Defibrillators removed for pretty obvious reasons.
-A few other small balancing details.

All of the following variants include the same features as "All Alone" but with their own additions/changes to the formula.

"Almost Alone" features:
-co-op with up to 2 players.
-twice the common infected spawn.
-friendly fire damage is significantly higher on all difficulties except easy.
-You only have half as much health while incapacitated, and when you get revived you immediately go Black and White.

"Armed Alone" features:
-Start the game with a magnum and 1 of every primary weapon at your feet (except the M60), but no other primary weapons spawn throughout the campaign.
-Spawn with one medkit in your inventory, but all other medkits are replaced with adrenaline. Use it wisely!
-Zombie night time alertness is increased to the same level as day time maps.
-Explosive Ammo is re-enabled.
-Headshots only is in effect.
-Tanks and witches spawn normally.
-No distant item glow.
-Permadeath; if you die, you're sent back to the l4d2 main menu.

"Especially Alone" features:
-Special Infected spawn normally.
-Every Special Infected (except the Tank and Witch) has only 1 health.
-Common/Uncommon Infected move at the same speed as the player.
-LMOE rules are in effect for getting pinned by specials (if they pin you and get your health to zero, you will automatically be revived in black and white mode, and if you get pinned again without healing you will die).
-Pipebombs have the vanilla timer length.
-Pain Pills will give you up to 99 temporary health.

"Standing Alone" features:
-Survival mode.
-Common/Uncommon Infected move at the same speed as the player.
-All weapons have vanilla ammo reserve values.
-Pipebombs have the vanilla timer length.
-Vanilla shove cooldown mechanics.
-Tanks move at a further decreased speed.
-Sniper Rifle damage increased to kill common infected in 4 body shots.

"Truly Alone" features:
-No distant item glow.
-No HUD.
-Permadeath; if you die, you're sent back to the l4d2 main menu.
--Start with a knife as your weapon.

"Zombie Season" features:
-Player starts out with a Hunting Rifle and Magnum.
-Hunting Rifle carries only 75 rounds in reserve.
-No weapons spawn (except grenades).
-Zombies die only by headshot, explosion or fire; standard bodyshots do no damage.

Sometimes when a headshot is successfully performed whilst using any of the sniper rifles, melee weapons, or the magnum in these mutations, the zombie will lose its head but continue living like nothing happened. If this happens, you can shoot the zombie in the stump (where its head used to be) to finish it off.

I strongly recommend LoadedAK's *Select Fire* mod, as it can really help you conserve your ammo, something very precious in this mutation.

Now Introducing: Undead Overrun! Like All Alone but with a lot more zombies.

Also if you're looking for a singleplayer mutation that's a bit closer to the vanilla L4D2 experience, check out my other mutation pack, "Left 1 Dead".

Huge HUGE thanks to Rayman1103 for helping me fix both the glitched hordes (on maps like Dead Air chapter 4, Dead Center chapter 3, and The Parish chapter 2) and the damage dealt by Sniper Rifles, the Magnum and Melee Weapons. It's thanks to him that this mutation is now fully playable on ANY map without any issues, and it's also thanks to him that the entire vanilla l4d2 arsenal is now usable in this mutation.

And special thanks to Staryoshi06 for helping fix a few of the glitched hordes that still persisted.

If you're a Youtuber, a video showcasing this mutation would be much appreciated!

After dying once in Truly Alone, I can't start another match. It always sends me back to main menu.

I encountered the same problem with another solo mutation and so I validated the files through steam and that seems to have fixed it, it works fine now.

I'm not sure why but when I try to launch "Armed Alone" on crash course, it spawns me in with all four survivors and none of the weapons or special conditions. Otherwise, I really enjoy these mutations.

this mod would not cause that, all changes this mod makes are confined to its mutation gamemodes.
