First , sorry for my very bad english TvT
i was expected someone to make this Light Katana long time ago , but no one did it so i think i will do it myself

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the mod included :
- Light saber SFX for Katana (a bit poorly made , i lost the wwise project for it so i cant tweak it anymore)
- 1P and 3P skin
- Changed glow text katana's glow part for entire blade
- oranger glow for offline and online
- blue and red , green , yellow , white , purple glow for offline only

FOR ONLINE COMPATIBLE
Require purchase glow text katana (skin in any condition is fine)

2ways to install and uninstall
You need to install the skin mod first before you can use it offline or online

Method 1 : Document folder override

INSTALL
Subscribe , restart the game and copy these folders

Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache\1763380133\0\Published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Katana
Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache\1763380133\0\Published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Skins
(1763380133\0\ may be change if the item get update)

or

SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\232090\1763380133\0\Published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Katana
SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\232090\1763380133\0\Published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Skins

To

(if there arent folders like that, you have to create them yourself)

UNINSTALL
Delete Katana & Skins folders in
Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\


Method 2 : Replace skin file with default file

INSTALL
Subscribe , restart the game and copy these folders

Just replace those skin mod with your backup

or testing the skin when you dont have the glow text katana or before you decide to purchase it (only in solo and enabled cheat)

.buy katana
.switch to katana
.press f3 or press ` to open console
.type enablecheats | setweaponskin 0 wep_skinset02_mat.glowtext_katana.glowtext_katana_1p_mat_mic
.then enter

To use other color variants
(only in solo and enabled cheats)

Highground for blue
Ihatesand for red
Dayo for green
MTFK for purple
Yellow for Yellow
and White for White

setweaponskin 0 highground.highground
.then enter

Battle scarred or mint condition is fine

Awh. A shame. Well I cast my vote for that stuff a long time ago. You'd think with all the laser guns and robots that TripWire could give us a plasma Katana, something like that.

Oh well. Looks cool anyways. I play offline a lot these days anyway, so it isn't too much of an issue for me. Thanks for your work!

the only way to make other color variants work online is they need to get approve to be item ingame through community vote
now you mentioned that , i just search the workshop and saw this skin , a very nice one long time ago , but it seems this still not accepeted
