Description
Introduction
This mod aims to expand on the concept of starbase buildings by adding more buildings and techs that you can unlock. Also this mod improves a lot of starbase buildings, because i think a lot of starbase buildings are too weak.

Features

- 8 improved starbase buildings
- 10 new technologies to unlock the new buildings

- higher defence platform capacity

The new starbase buildings

Dark Matter Extractor
This starbase building allows to extract 2 Dark Matter from a black hole.

Pulsar Observatory
This starbase building uses the results of exploring a pulsar. Increases the research speed by 6%.

Pulsar Observatory II
Increases the research speed by additional 13%. That might look like too powerful, but this building is unlocked in the early-late game and it cost 11.000 alloys and has an upkeep of 20 energy.

Neutron Observatory
This starbase building uses the neutrons out of a neutron star to create a massiv amount of research points. Gives 70 engineering and 20 physics points.

Neutron Observatory II
Produces additional 280 engineering research and 50 physics research. That might look like too powerful, but this building is unlocked in the early-late game and it cost 12.000 alloys and has an upkeep of 20 energy.

Hydroponics Bay II
A mid game version of the hydroponics bay. It produces 20 food, but the upkeep is increased to 5 energy.

Physics/Society/Engineering Support Lab
A Lab which supports the planet researchers. Will improve the outpout of every physic/society/engineering researcher by 20%.

Repair Module
Add repair platforms around the Starbase performing quick ship maintenance and repair. Unlocked in the mid game.

Chain Manufacturing
Helps in the production of alloys and consumer goods on planets. Increases the production by additional 15%. Unlocked in the mid game.

Construction Planificator
Creates building schemas in order to decrease the build time of buildings. Increases the building speed by 70%.
Unlocked in the mid game.

Best Systems
The top technology for the systems of the Starbase allowing it to work much more efficient. Unlocked in the early-late game.

Space Housing
Deploys space houses around the colonies in order to increase the populations of the colonies present in the system. Adds 20 housing to all plantes in the system, but keep in mind that it uses one of four building slots of your starbase. Unlocked in the mid game.

Crew Modules
Increases the maximum amount of starbases in your empire by one per building.

Passport Control
A rude and strict passport control decrease the migration.

Anti Piracy Patrol
The starbase has his own fighters to fight the piracy in the system.

Solar Panels
Produces 5 energy.


Improved starbase buildings

Crew Quarters
Ship in orbit upkeep reduces by 30% instead of 25%.

Hydronics Bay
Food production increased to 8.

Fleet Academy
Starting experience increased to 300.

Black Hole Observatory
Physics research increased to 45, upkeep increased to 6 and it produces additional 25 engineering research.

Defense Grid
Increased the amount of defense platforms for this starbase by 13.

Curator Think Tank
Produces 20 research of each type instead of 5.

Art College
Produces 30 unity instead of 5.

Listening Post
Sensor range and hyperlane range increased by 2.


Technologies

Defense Improvements
This is a repeatable technology, which adds every time researched +4 defense platform capacity.

Faster Starbase Engineers I/II
Increases the starbase building build speed by 20%/40%.

Shipyards Everywhere
This extremely rare endgame technology allows to build ships on every starbase, without a shipyard.

Stronger Defense I/III/V/VI
This tech adds +40% more damage for defense platforms per level.

Stronger Defense II/IV/VI/VIII
This tech adds +40% more hull points for defense platforms per level.

Compability
I'm overwriting 00_starbase_buildings so any mod that does the same will be incompatible.

I highly recommend to use the "Starbase View Rejig" mod, because it makes the ui a lot clearer.
