Description
Advanced/Alternative Character Gen based on the Point Based Character Design System in the 3rd edition Shadowrun Companion.

In this Alpha build:

*Select ANY Race, "?" Custom, Pick your Avatar, & Name
*Do NOT spend starting Karma.
*Spend "Build Points" for Race/Magic/Attributes/Skills/Resources
*Final Karma "value" is comparable w/ completed DMS
*Dependency: Must have Tracker's excellent SSC installed
*Full Magicians supported. Create a Mage or Shaman.
*Now purchase a Sony CTY-360 Cyberdeck. More decks coming!
*Now purchase Drones from Mr Merchant.
*NEW: Skill Cost based on Linked Attribute

after I finish making a character with this, when I try to upload said character into a new game with import character options, I have none of my gear or cyberware

Haerzog,

Sorry for the slow response. I haven't been maintaining the Companion. It is only available via the Workshop. If I find time to return to Editor work on SR:R, I will be sure to update the Companion and get it listed in additional sources. For now, I'm finding all my spare time taken up with Golem Arcana.

I've been totally away from SRR. I've been meaning to fire up and play Dragonfall though.

I'm toying around with the idea of a last update to the Companion to make sure it's compatible with Dragonfall and takes advantage of the little improvements have been made, but doubt it will ever exist in the form I imagined in my mind. There were just too many frustrating limitations with the editor.

I'll try and make time to get back and post another update though smoothing out a few of the rough patches.

i used this to make a char for dragonfall, worked fine! for shamans though there are some new totems that need adding, and new player art that needs adding too

Do you have a link on how to import UGC? I tried to find the info on the wiki, but no dice.

@le_voyageur,

The SRC is dependent on @tracker.bpm's Street Samurai Catalog (SSC) for the revised and expanded weapons and cyberware. Your destination UGC will need to utilize the SSC for your weapons and cyberware to properly Import with your character.
