RwF: Great Age Boosts

In 1 collection by JFD
JFD's Rule with Faith
20 items
Description
Great Ages now impact the effectiveness of Eurekas and Inspirations. Dark Ages decrease the boosts you receive from them by 20% whilst Golden (and Heroic) Ages increase their boosts by 20%. Also lowers the default value of these boosts during Normal Ages, as well as China's.

Note that this mod replaces the following files and will conflict with any other mod that replaces the same files (unless those mods are also by me):
  • CivicsTree.lua
  • TechTree.lua
This is to fix an issue where Techs and Civics did not indicate the strength of their Eurekas and Inspirations based on dynamic conditions (incl. China's vanilla UA). These files can be safely removed without removing the functionality of the mod, if you know how.

This mod is a part of a series of mods called 'Rule with Faith.' Mods with this tag are intended to be played together, but can also be played standalone.

Try updating, or it should update automatically. Its a bug caused when there is a conflict in the load order between the mod and the XPs.

I found a weird bug with this component in particular: it makes some Civ's abilities be in Spanish (or maybe Portuguese?) in the menu screens.

@pajamathekid: yeah, I also use Historic Speed. This modular approach is great. What is the workaround though?
pajamathekid 8 Jul, 2019 @ 3:16pm
I am already benefiting from the modularity. I use P0kiehl's Historic Speed, a mod which also edits boosts, making this mod and Historic Speed incompatible, there is a simple workaround... regardless - thanks to modularity, I can disable only this mod and continue to use the rest of the features RwF offers. Cheers.

I'm loving these standalone, yet simultaneously useable mods you release! Looking forward to what we're getting in the future. Thanks for your hard work!
