This collection consisted of the most essential mods together to create a hell lot better and fun game experience than the vanilla Torchlight 2 without you missing out much of the original experience. The other reason for this mod pack is to have more people using the same mods, so we can all get more game online.

*****Torchlight Essentials and Synergies compatibility is basically the same mod as the one here

but one of the mods, "Better Sorting" has been replaced with "Better Sorting Synergies compatibility version" in this one for Synergies compatibility.
The original author does not want to alter his mod because if he does, his mod will be chaning the vanilla balance of the game for the people who don't use Synergies mod along with his mod.
Therefore, if you want to use Synergies mod with Essentials mod, use this version of the Essentials mod for Synergies compatibility. If you are not using Synergies mod, you can just use the original version of the Essentials mods.
Note that we have the original mod author's permission for this version.

****For people who subscribed to the older version of this collection ( the one with original Essentials mod and LAO 2.0 )
you can switch to the newer version without restarting your game by doing the followings:

!!! ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVE FIRST!!!

Original Essentials to Synergies compatible Essentials:
1. subscribe to mod unbinder here:

2. go to the mod selection window, select the Synergies compatible Essentials and mod unbinder along with other mods in this collection, then unselect the original Essentials.
3. launch the game, load your save and click "continue/unbind" From what I've tested, you won't able to unbind the character save from original Essentials mod, but as long as you keep the mod unbinder loaded, you will be able to continue your save without original Essentials mod. However, you may lose a few items here.

LAO 2.0 to LAO 2.0 Chaos Edition:
1. go to the mod selection window, select both LAO 2.0 and LAO 2.0 Cahos Edition along with other mods in this collection. (Chaos Edition should be on top of LAO 2.0)
2. load the game with your save.
3. quit the game, then go to the mod selection window and unselect LAO 2.0.
4. load the game and you are golden. You may still lose a few items here, as well.


***Please also note that if you are switching from the older version, and have a new friend joining your game, he/she will still need to load the exact same mods as you including mod unbinder even if he/she is starting a brand new character.

****This mod collections work extremely well in MP, I have been playing MP with this mod collections for many many hours without problems (Well...other than the official MP bugs)

****I highly recommend playing on Elite difficulty with this mod collections. It is going to be very very challenge at the beginning, and you will die a LOT. But once you get stronger and more skillful, it will be a hell lot of fun! (Hopefully, your computer will be able to handle all the craziness)

****If you like this collections, please give it a good rating and favorite it! So more people will use this collections and more people will be able to play together online! (I would really love to try what it will be like to have 8 people in a game!)

****There is a minor graphical glitch when Torchlight Essentials loaded above SynergiesMOD. Switching the two to resolve the glitch if you cannot get pass it. But I highly suggest not to do so, as you will loss some crucial functionality of the Torchlight Essentials mod. Just keep the load order as it is.

****If any of the mod authors do not want their mods to be in this collections, please send me a message and I will remove it immediately.
