As I've always understood it, stock refers to whether or not it has mods, vanilla is the term used when describing a game without DLC.

DLC = stock, read up on the definition with every youtuber and on the wiki site

Technically not stock, since stock would mean part of the base game, while you need to buy the dlc to use this.

@Marlborough the spherical crew compartments are from the making history expansion. They are meant to be the main body of the "Vostok" spacecraft built by the Soviets

Which stock part is the spherical compartment? I've had this game for years and have never seen it.
