I just saw a few posts on the BI forums saying BIS_mp_fnc may be broken on dedicated servers using DEVBRANCH. I have not been able to confirm this myself though. If you find you cannot hijack the radio, are playing on a dedicated server, and are on devbranch this is probably the issue. If so we'll have to wait for BI to fix it.

If you want to set enemy skills directly then set Enemy Skills to Manual Settings and set the AI skills appropriately.

NEWS:
1.6 is going to take a little longer than expected because of work. Just to keep you guys in the loop here're a few things that are coming:
  • Technicals are making a comeback. (released)
  • Patrol Boats. (In Testing WOOOO)
  • New Revive system. (will be held until 1.7)
  • Randomized loadouts for enemy soldiers. (Might be held until 1.7) (small parts are done)
  • Tweaks to weather to level the playing field with AI in fog. (lifted the fog a bit)
  • FIA units loyal to CSAT. (released)

Built and tested in Stable Branch. (Tested lightly in Dev Branch)

Description
Finally! It has taken me almost two years of editing, and I am very proud to present my latest multiplayer COOP mission Escape Chernarus!

You are a USMC special force held captive in Chernarus some time before the US invasion. Your objective is to somehow contact your allies and rendezvous with a rescue force. Find your way through the living environment of enemy hunters directed by an intelligent search leader, enemy forces, civilians, traffic, animals, ambient events and surprises. Mission is 100% dynamic and uses the entire map. Play it 100 times, two games will not be the same!

  • Co-op 08 Revive (recommended for 2-8 players).
  • Uses entire map.
  • Dynamic and living environment.
  • True random start position. Game develops differently every time, inferring great replayability.
  • Options for enemy skill, enemy frequency, weather, time of day and grass settings.
  • Supports hosted and dedicated server (and is JIP compatible).


A Little Hint For a Better Game
Escape Chernarus is best played at difficulty level Veteran or Expert (since the mission's story is based on the idea that you are lost).


Installation
Put the .pbo-file in your MPMissions folder in the ArmA2 game folder.

Dependencies
None.

Known Issues
  • Inner guard seems to have an unlimited number of pistols.
  • Revive system can act a bit wonky. New one being worked on (thanks NeoArmageddon!).

Notes
  • Turning down spawn range, enemy frequency, and village patrol populations will increase performance.
  • Uses a very "in flux" version of UPSMON for A3.
  • You must use the solar panels to hijack the radio. When I find a better model to use I will switch it.

I really enjoy this but the problem as everyone said, the APC and tank react too quick. I am ok that serveral Mrap coming but those tanks just make the escape hopeless.

Ok, Great addtion but Way to F-hard even with full crew! the Problem the AI APC, Tank and ext hit way harder to the point the game is impossible to play. Adjusted the setting all the way down to 0.05 on AI still same issues. need a middle ground on the Ai they are way to OP

You can play it alone but you have to go through the multiplayer menu. You'll have to open it as a lan game. The mission is not recommended for playing alone however.
