That sounds awesome. I still have the Vietnam map, I still play it. The chopper mission sounds cool, I'd rather fly low and support the ground and deal with small arms..thats fun!
So if I have your mission, how do I open it and play with it? I should be able to but I can never seen to find it in the editor. I would just add the tomcat and be done. I would also like a closer runway..maybe a carrier 3 mikes off shore

I'm sorry to say I cannot find the original file for this mission anywhere, or the map. I'll keep messing around. I just wanted to let you know. However I'm working on a few new things at the moment. I just put out a new map or two and will be dropping a new set of missions soon. My multiplayer campaign has some good practice in it if you feel the desire to try that. Chopper mission coming soon. I'd like to try and remake a Nam map but without the terrain high enough to turn into snow etc, and then do perhaps a Cobra helicopter type CAS mission. I was thinking maybe a SOG team on the run, and choppers keep the enemy off of them long enough for an extraction or something.

On my Mt Everest map I have an AV-42C rescue mission coming soon that is pretty tough with the conditions being so terribly windy etc.

Thanks man! I would love an update with the tomcat now. To be able to fly my frie ds at night through all the tracer fire would be sick. This is still my Go-To mission to play SP.

This is one of my all time fav missions in the game. I run 2 VR rigs to play with my son. I have tried to modify this mission in the editor to try to add a second flyable aircraft. Could you please make this same mission, for multi-player, coop? You could even add choppers, and only give them rockets. My favorite tactic it taking a full load of MK83s and go high altitude, dive bomb my entire MK83 load in that dive, save for one, then hit the large bunker to the north on my way back to base to rearm. We love the minimal SAMs presence, and massive AA presence. Playing THIS mission at night is a must do for all vtol vr players. TAKE MY POINTS. Once again, please add a second playable aircraft, and thank you for all the great times in this mission!

This is a super fun mission! I did as the author suggested and went in with just guns, hydra and dumb bombs. For extra effect, I did it at night with no night vision. Nice!

You should be able to via the three friendly airbases in the area. Is it not working properly? It worked during testing.

wish there was somewhere to refuel and rearm or something...

we need a skyraider, or saber or even the phantom for this!!!
