Description
Attention: This is a standalone version of the mod created by Parse, just with different graphical effects for the strike craft...just graphics, nothing else

Supports game version 2.3.x
SCE is an extensive overhaul of Strike Craft, making them useful and splitting them into a variety of roles.

General Changes
All Strike Craft variants have fast launch times, longer launch ranges than vanilla, faster speeds, and overall better stats to improve their performance in combat. The projectile limits were increased. Strike Craft height variation and the randomness of their formation were raised as well.

New Technologies
Currently, there are new technologies added to unlock these variants and buff them. Each ascension path has a unique Strike Craft upgrade to each variant.

New Strike Craft Variants
Fighters
Projectile GFX - Small Blue Flak
Role - Multipurpose
Behavior - Offensive, no specific targeting priorities.
Targetable - Strike Craft, Guided Weapons, and Ships.

Interceptors
Projectile GFX - Autocannon
Role - Carrier Support
Behavior - Stays near fleet, does not attack ships.
Targetable - Strike Craft and Guided Weapons. Prioritizes guided weapons first before Strike Craft.

Torpedo Bombers
Projectile GFX early tiers - Small Missile
Projectile GFX late tiers - Small Blue Plasma Accelerator
Hit GFX early tiers - Small Missile Explosion
Hit GFX late tiers - Neutron Torpedo Explosion
Role - Anti-Capital Ship
Behavior - Prioritizes larger ships and attacks with bombing runs. After attacking, the bombers will move out of enemy point defense range then loop around for another attack.
Targetable - Ships.

Gunships
Projectile GFX - Red Flak
Role - Heavy Fire Support
Behavior - Prioritizes smaller ships to quickly destroy them but will also target capital ships.
Targetable - Strike Craft and Ships.

Ascension Path Upgrades
Psionics:
+10% Armor Damage.
+10% Hull Damage.
+20 to personal shields HP.
Slight boost to evasion.

Gene-modded:
+25% Damage to armor.
+20 to personal hull HP.
Slightly faster Strike Craft regeneration rate.

Cybernetic:
+25% Damage to hull.
+20 to personal armor HP.
+50 boost to speed.
Slightly better tracking and accuracy

Compatibility
SCE should be compatible with all mods, such as NSC2 and ESC.

Hi, can you bump strike craft DPS across the board?

Vanilla DPS is more then twice as high, which makes the mod obsolete. It still has the best visuals out of all strike craft mod, so i'd like to be able to use it :)

I have another version on my computer that reduces the number of models, but doubles the damage and the health, armor, etc. of all strike craft

Mobius that would be great. I'll need to look at the average damage, and cool down times for the other mods out there like At War, ACOT, NSC and such and see what a good mean is.
