The Araneo Queen

Description
The Araneo Queen! The origin of Lysrix the broodmother. This species has been reintroduced to the ark and is here to cause terror into anything it sets it's many eyes on!

=Cliff Notes=

-Comparable size to rex and Yuty in between the two
-Can breed
-Carnivore(insect)
-Has an armor item but does not require it for riding
-KO Tame
-Good health, low damage, decent stamina, decent speed
-Not a very good gatherer like many carnivores
-Spawns a narcotic replacement, chitin, Organic Polymer and Silk in inventory

=Things Of note=

-Queen's are a late game creature similar to spinos, rexs, basilisk, wyverns etc but her gimmick is that a large amount of her usefulness comes from the multitude of status effects she can inflict rather than her raw power. Though with her summons her dps can get quite high in the right circumsances

-They have a fairly aggressive ai that will attack anything with a pulse

-Queen's are quite vulnerable in water, hvaing the lowest oxygen stat currently in the game, if you find yourself overwhelmed by a queen and there's water nearby its an easy way to get her off your back and if your lucky she'll even drown before she reaches land

-Queen's can spawn as either male or females... there is a flavor text reason for this but for those not interested in that, this is just so she can breed, and she boasts a slightly higher chance for twins than the average creature.

These were all ideas I had and will actually be in the ASA version of the mod, for some reason I can't update this anymore as when I do none of the animations work. Everything T-Poses and everyone I ask say they've never seen it before.

Wonderful mod, I really loved it, however, there is something that does not convince me: the fact that male araneo queen exist. I know it was to make it reproducible, but it would have been great with a different idea:

1) that the queen could reproduce with normal male spiders and that it always resulted in a queen or a praetorian spider.

2) that the queen spider egg was craftable, and that the queen's venom and her spikes, as well as a normal spider's egg, were needed to create it.

3) that a normal baby spider can be turned into a queen by means of a royal jelly-like object that releases a wild queen when killed, or that it is given by already tamed queens.

Don't you think that any of those three could be a good idea to make the upbringing of this creature more fun?

Tame them by knocking them out then putting broth of enlightenment in their inventory

regen is just innate ark she just has alot of hp so its a percentage, to fix it can probs make it so she can't harvest corpses but yeah I didn't give her regen thats just ark carnivore regen lmao

well Rodan does like a million damage the Godzilla mod kinda broken :steamhappy: the sad part was when I posted that I was just going to get some rocks so I just brought a Arvis and a doed so she killed us all her regan is super powerful so you need another broken modded dino to fight her

a good idea if you can is to use a flyer like a wyvern or drag her to water, they have terribly low oxygen and will drown fairly quickly they also swim VERY slowly

yeah may do that a bit op to kill solo and the drop she give is op had to use Rodan to take her down till she stopped spawning in my rock mining spot :Vegeta:
