Keeps Colonial Nations from messing up CN borders.

Should just do what it says -- no more, no less. Not Ironman compatible.

FAQ:
Q: This doesn't stop CNs from conquering provinces outside their own CN!
A: No, it doesn't. Wargoals logic is outside the scope of this mod.

Q: I get descriptor file missing etc. errors.
A: These are issues with Steam Workshop and/or the new Paradox launcher. Search in the Paradox forums for possible fixes. Yes, the mod really does have a descriptor file.

Q: Is this compatible with [xyz mod]?
A: It's compatible with anything that doesn't touch the /common/scripted_functions/00_scripted_functions.txt file. This means mods changing the map etc. are fine, including BT. Total overhaul mods are less likely to work but depend on how that mod implemented things. If in doubt, look at the other mod files and see if it includes that file -- Steam mods are installed in [steam directory]/steamapps/workshop/content/236850/[mod ID].

Q: Will you implement [xyz feature]?
A: Probably not, but you can! Feel free to use this as a basis for whatever your idea is. Look at the modding docs on the EU4 wiki or ask in the /r/eu4mods/ subreddit for help -- that's how I made this.

sorry for the super late reply but thank you for the advice, ive gottten it to work a while ago and also i can confirm this mod still does work ive never stopped using it

Just a heads up: As far as I can tell, playing the game with other mods such as Bt anyhow, this mod on my end looks like it is working as intended.

@Elon Musk -- also this mod doesn't currently work properly, and I don't know why, so maybe take my advice with a grain of salt. If you get it working let me know what you fix, or feel free to put up your own version.

@Elon Musk -- look at the reddit thread linked in the sidebar, it tells you how to make this mod. Download the mod and add a condition to the can_colonize_province section that duplicates the is_colonial_nation condition but make it be for client states (I don't know what the actual condition tag is, you can find them on the EU4 wiki, it's probably something like is_client_state).


So you'll have a section that's something like

FROM = {
is_client_state = no
}

below the part that stops CNs.

could you make a mod where client states cannot colonize? im looking all over the workshop for a fix and i have a mod where i can make client states anywhere, so, im having an issue with British Malayan Siberia and British Fiji baja california. If you know where to go in the files to change and modify this pls help bc im struggling and I can do it im just not sure where to start.
