Asteroid Spectroscopy

Description
A fancy title that justifies increasing the ore detectors diameter to 500m and 800m for small and large ships respectively. I figure if we can deduce the composition of asteroids with nothing but radio, IR, and UV telescopes from tens of millions of km away we should be able to figure them out from less than half a km away, using GPR, and other Spectronomy techniques, instead of bumbling around on the back side of the shadow of an asteroid no denser than beanbag chair.

@Mailleweaver : did you find a mod which moves the ore detector's detection to only in front of the ore detector?

Aaaah, I can see that, because they BOTH have to access the same cubeblocks entry. You could make your own patch of it fairly easily; you just would need the permission of the other mod creator to do so.
