CPU Custom Class (Unofficial LW2 Ver.)

Description
This is a Long War 2 port of the CPU Custom Class by Mid_Boss. It's a preliminary build that I'm releasing for testing purposes because it's mostly working but there are those few things that just don't want to go.

This class does work with Long War 2 1.5. It may work with older versions, but who uses those anyway?
It should not work with vanilla XCOM or War of the Chosen. It may work with WOTC LW2 Secondary Weapons but I have not tested it.

Class Summary
The CPU is an offensive class. She chains her Hard Drive Divinity power to boost her damage and improve her aim for brief periods of time.

A Faith CPU is a goddess of death. With her Share Blast and part Break, she can decimate large swaths of the battlefield or strip the armor right off of a foe.
A Divinity CPU is a tough nut to crack. Swiftness allows her to zip across the battlefield, Sentient briefly makes her virtually untouchable even after Untouchable has worn off, and with a sip of her Nep Bull she can be back in fighting shape in no time!
A Leadership CPU excels in assisting her party. Whether she's marking targets with Tech Support, dancing through enemy fire with Lightning Reflexes, or Patiently waiting for the perfect time to strike, she's a blessing to her squad and a curse on her enemy.

Known Issues

For some reason, when I try to stun anything, it bounces back as immune. I'm working on it Well now they fall down, but the status doesn't show up in Yet Another F1, the effect duration seems to stack (That might be intended) and sometimes it doesn't take the first time.
CPUs don't seem to have PCS slots. It's probably a typo in my XComClassData.ini, and I even know where it should be, but it doesn't seem to fix when I tell it to fix. There was an issue in my SDK config, I was testing on an older build. Newer changes may have fixed this

Planned Features
  • Add Nep Bull to the AWC as a level 2/3 perk (I tried already, but it doesn't seem to have worked)
  • Add Patience and Part Break to Musashi's Stealth Overhaul
  • Add more nicknames: Suggestions more than welcome
  • Make icons for the "reskinned" abilities

Wishlist Features (Possible, but lower priority)
  • Adjust Faith Shield based on whether HDD is on (Nerf it, but buff it beyond current when HDD active)
  • Add achievements: I don't know what for, but nothing Neptunia is complete without plenty of asinine achievements!
  • Lock CPU class based on gender (This probably isn't possible, but it offends my nitpicky sensibilities that male CPUs can exist)

Questions

Will this variant be ported to WotC?
Maybe. Depends on how much work it is, what mood I'm in, if LWotC ever gets off the ground, whether I get bored and wander off, etc.

RPGO?
If it comes to WotC at all, you'd better believe it! I've played about three hours of WotC and never with RPGO, but it looks amazing and from what I've seen porting a class to RPGO is ridiculously easy compared to actually making one.

Where'd you get the characters?
Funny story, I was bored one night and decided to see if anyone had made a Neptunia character pool. Turns out /u/iamaniamschris put this on /r/gameindustri a while back. All credit goes there.

Do they make good officers
Kind of. I will say that Gear (As a leadership CPU) becomes ridiculously overpowered against single targets. I once saw her and Noire use Part Break and Focus Fire on the Berserker Queen. Combined with Plutia's (As a Biotic) Warp and we took her down in one turn. One would assume that under the same circumstances a Sharpshooter could have done just as well. In hindsight, I should've used active GFI and added Get Some.

Why do the CPUs have a holotargeter by default?
I flipped a coin and it came up tails.

Why are CPUs so rare?
Lore reasons: Because there are never more than 8 naturally occurring CPUs in one dimension (eg. Not counting Arfore copying powers or Neptune rabbit-holing herself into other worlds)

Technical reason: My brain forgot that most players like the number of a class's soldiers to reflect their power level and not their lore. If you want to fix it, set the +NumInDeck and +NumInForcedDeck to 4 and 1 respectively.

Credits
Mid_Boss: Initial class. Also for the voice packs that made my test playthrough so much better.
shiremct: for the code I tried using to limit perks based on secondaries. If I've learned anything in my years of /r/talesfromtechsupport reading, it's that it's probably my fault.
/u/iamaniamschris for the great Neptunia character pool
Robojumper and Musashi for loads of great code examples. I also might have borrowed some code directly (I can't remember and I'm too lazy to actually go back and check. I'm sure if I did it's commented appropriately)
Pavonis Interactive for Long War 2. It might just be the single greatest mod made for any game ever. Except Long War 1, of course!

This is my first mod for XCOM 2 and I've loved every minute of it. There truly is nothing quite like writing some code and watching the computer do exactly what you tell it to.

RPGO version?

Well... the short version is that CPUs, or Console Patron Units, are quite literally goddesses. (I don't know if it's impossible for a male CPU to exist or if it's just never happened.) They originate from the Hyperdimensio nNeptunia series. To the best of my knowledge, there have never been more than 8 naturally-occurring CPUs (Not counting dimensional travelers and copy abilities) in a dimension at any one time.

I based these off of Ultradimension's version (Humans gain power from a CPU Memory artifact and become goddesses), but because there's no way in the Gameindustri Graveyard I could code CPU Memories, I just made them rare and forgot to mention it in the desc. More informatio non them can be found here [neptunia.fandom.com].

So TL;DR yes, there's no real reason aside from lore that CPUs are rare. My theory of mind just glitched out and stopped comprehending the possibility that other people might like gameplay over RP.

Honestly, this class almost deserves to be treated as a regular class (no forced deck restriction). It needs only a few nerf (thanks for opening that options via .ini) However, i'll keep using this as restricted in my collection, because pseudo-lore wise; seems very unearthly and i feel it should be very, very rare. (I confess i have little to no idea about CPU's :) )

Thanks! I've been working on this little guy for two months, and I'm so glad to see what I can only assume is a good response level for a rookie!

"In response to the unprovoked intrusion on the eve of our most beloved LWoTC, this mod reaches out to us." Great work.
