Description
Just some high quality walls. Nearly all of them are 1x1.

*** I am in the process of overhauling this mod. I will probably push several updates over the next few days (Message written on 2021-10-20, still true 2021-11-06). ***

If you want only my walls to show up when playing with other mods that add walls, you can use this add-on mod to disable the walls from the other mods (work in-progress):

The tier 1 wall is built by the regular vanilla builder.
The tier 2 wall is built by the combat and mech engineers.
The tier 3 wall is built by the experimental and modular spiders.
The cash drops and cosmetic walls are built by the regular vanilla builder.
You can set the color of the cosmetic blocks after you create them.

You can upgrade the plain walls to the next tier. At tier 2, you can choose to convert to a gate. At tier 3, you can choose to convert to a turret:
  • Wall: This stays as the plain wall but is stronger and can be upgraded further.
  • Gate: This can be opened as a gate.
  • Turret: This functions as a strong turret.

You can gift a wall (or turret, etc) to another player with the "Gift" option. To claim a gifted wall (or turret, etc), order a unit to enter the gifted wall's transport. There is no transport size restriction.

You can also hide a single unit in a wall (or turret, etc) that you own. There is no transport size restriction.

Tech:
  • A unit can cross any wall you own, not just gates, by ordering them to enter the wall and then unloading them from the wall. This is slower and does not work for walls owned by your allies.
  • You can allow a unit to enter the vanilla no clipping state by ordering it to enter the transport of and unload from any wall, or by closing a gate on a unit.
  • You can gift a unit to an ally by ordering the unit to hide within a wall and then using the wall's "Gift" option. To claim a unit gifted in this way, simply have a ground unit approach the gifted unit.

  • Wall-building wall (3x3 and currently the only non-1x1 wall)

the wall turrets when used by ai are so op its insane, have to do a massive swarm of strong units just to overpower like 10 ai walls cause of the main gun one hitting everything that isnt a spider

Bullet Kin is right, the turrets are enormous and i think that they don't match with the idea of the walls to stop enemies. In the other hand, shields and laser defenses are very useful

Do some of the named walls and upgrades not exist? I can't seem to find the T5 gates nor the turrets.

Thank you for the feedback! Art is certainly my greatest weakness. Next time I work on Rusted Warfare mods I'll see if there's something I can do to make it funner. I unfortunately don't have the old sprites anymore (I swear I made a backup but it's just gone off the face of the earth, that's why I made the new ones) but if I get around to it I'll try to clean up the new ones and maybe redo some of the biggest style offenders, I know they're pretty inconsistent. I've been a bit busy with other things (and life in general) so I haven't gotten to work on mods for a bit, but I'll be back before too long. I just need some time, you know. After a bit of testing against AI, I have come to the conclusion that I don't really like the turrets - They don't match the art style at all, are much too long, and when combined with the point defense system of the walls, just aren't fun to fight against. Liked the tiny bunkers from a few versions ago. Walls are still excellent.

What do you mean by "isn't loading"? If you're trying to load a game save with a previous version of my mod that probably won't work, and I don't know how to fix it :/

Also, I fixed the Downgrade bug and added water walls! :D
