Welcome to the Colonial Guard Race Mod!

Starting Traits:
Dirty Duo: Starts with two random Hired Gun Heroes, up to 25 variations

-50 Energy per turn and starts with +5 Influence
Laser Weapons Group
Explosives Weapons Group
Defence tactics
Mech piloting
Powerful ranged units, weak melee capability
Note: your faction may start with a Negative income!

Features:
*Adds a new main race to the game, specialising in defensive warfare, with a wide range of units, tech, mods and customisation.


Highlights
Some of the many unique features of this mod include:

Tactical stealth, sneak attacks have a higher chance to do critical damage, stealth is removed by being damaged or attacking, and also is detected by overwatch


Hero development allows them to become lord of a city, giving unique defensive structures and renewable missions


Defensive structures such as a barbed wire, causing bleeding to light bio and cyborg units but can be destroyed by heavy units, towers manned by light units and give increased range, exploding landmines, medical tents and more


In addition includes two playable factions in leader loadout perk selection 'The Company and the Imperial Reich'

Like all race mods, this does not touch any vanilla content and compatible with all mine and most other dev mods with no trouble.

I had this issue recently too and it was fixed by unzipping all the mod's contents and it was like this with their other mods outside of the playable faction stuff

@LazyBard - That is unusual, in Steam settings under workshop there use to be a repair button

The problem is I don't see anything except archive in mod's folder. Nothing like that I see on Wolfie's screenshots he provided to resolve some potential issues with mod. No Language folder, no LoadingScreen folder, nothing. Only one archive.
Had to manually unzip the mod archive, otherwise it just refused to be considered as installed mod by some reason

@Lazy - I use it all the time no issues, resub and verify your game files, make sure the workshop content folder is actually placing it in there, all of Wolfies mods still work.

Does this mod still work? Just installed the game once again and CG doesn't seem to be there, no heroes, no units, though game launcher says I do have it installed

I've never edited someone else's mod before jump on the PF discord and talk to the modders there would be your best bet

Wanted to edit this mod to fix typos and mess around my own way but I get a lot of broken resourcelinks and it can't open certain files in the editor. Any idea why?
