(INTERSTELLAR) Endurance - Basic Version V2.0

This is a "sim speed friendly" Version of my Endurance

The complete Version was made of many connectors, which made the model a bit unstable and led to a slow sim speed. I replaced most of the connectors with merge blocks, decreasing the number of grids by about 75% and I removed the Rangers and Landers. It is now more stable but also lost its ability to use the conveyor system.

On my system (i5-8400, 16GB Ram, GTX1060 6GB) I measured the following:
Complete Endurance
stationary 73 FPS / 0.75 sim speed
full speed+rotation 60 FPS / 0.50 sim speed

Basic Endurance
stationary 75 FPS / 1.00 sim speed
full speed+rotation 73 FPS / 0.70 sim speed

There are a few flying tips inside the main cockpit.

List of features:
- 4 Engine Modules powered by Nuclear Reactors and/or Hydrogen Engines
- Command Module with Control Room, Communications Room and Cupola
- 2 Habitat Modules with access to Center Tube, Oxy Farm, Medical Station, Conference Room and Tanks
- Cryo Module with 4 Cryo Pods
- 4 Safe Rooms
- 4 Landing Modules with Crew Rest and the Landing Pods - all Landing Pods together build a fully equipped Ground Station, when brought down to the surface via the Landers


Scale: 1:1 (as much as I could)
Mods: YES (wtf he used Mods!)

1 ... BWD Thrusters .................... DECREASE OVERRIDE

5 ... Inertia Dampeners ............... ON/OFF (Engine Modules only, be careful at low speed)
6 ... Gyros Command Module ..... ON/OFF (select OFF for rotation)
7 ... Advanced Rotors ................. SHARE INERTIA TENSOR ON/OFF (for stability reasons)
