Disable Eye Adapt

Description
A mod to disable the eye adapt feature, so screen brightness is constant, and doesn't change when you move from looking at a bright object to dark or vice versa.

If this mod doesn't work out for you, try my other mod, Slow Eye Adapt.

Does not work for me. You say there are no compatibility issues and Skyrim did confirm that the mod was successfully installed, so somethings wrong.

With regard to my prior comment, it appears that there is a bug where, upon entering some areas, the brightness will get stuck at very very dark. The issue can be worked around by activating any item or ability that produces the night-eye effect, which in turn will force correction of the brightness.

My guess is that there's some areas where a certain eye adjustment level is forced when you enter, and the built-in eye adjustment code normalizes after that. If such code exists, I'm guessing it's either for dramatic effect or as a workaround for some issue they found during development.

I'm not sure what you mean by random brightness. The Eye Adapt feature makes it so that when you look at a bright light then it will make the whole screen will shift the brightness so that the total brightness is roughly the same. The mod is very small, and leaves nothing behind if you uninstal so you can just try it to see.

Unfortunately, this can make it difficult to see in some dark areas, even if you maximize brightness. Vlindrel Hall in particular has a number of overly-dark areas.
