Description
Designed to allow scientists and engineers to be useful when the game projects run out at late game, this tool can also be used to introduce fabrication of base materials during the game earlier also with some editing.

-= DEFAULT VALUES =-
All projects unlock when the game asks you to construct the Psi Gate (upgraded Shadow Chamber). At that point you're well inside the late game and you might run out of things to research or fabricate in the Proving Grounds. You can remove the requirement altogether and start with these techs straight off the bat.

The base research time is 7200h and it increases by 1200h every research. The reason it's so high is because you usually have 6-7 staff of each around that time and i wanted the techs to still take around 10 days to complete. It also doesn't make research ADVENT and Alien Datapads useless.

You can send Engineers or Scientists off to get Intel (30), Supplies (50), Alloys (15) or Elerium (10). You can also create Elerium Cores, but these cost Elerium (5), Alloys (10) and Supplies (50) in addition to time. You can make them using the Proving Ground OR by Research, or both at the same time for 2 Core production max at a time.

I also enjoy that it provides a small incentive to doing the Golden Path missions.

-= CONTINENTAL BONUSES =-
'Spy Ring' and 'All In' both affect Intel and Supplies awarded. If you think I should add another bonus to something let me know.

-= CUSTOMIZATION =-
Everything about the mod or almost is customizable in the INI file. If you edit the XCOMGAME.INT file, you can also rename the projects or text for them (but don't edit anything in brackets).

-= COMPATIBILITY =-
This inserts 6 new templates and as such is compatible with everything.

Note that i tried this in my existing campaign and it doesnt seem to be sticking so you will need a New Campaign with this already installed. Once installed, you can change the parameters during the game.

-= NEW ICONS =-
Nemesis, who's listed as mod contributor to the right, gave me all the new images to put into the game. They are professional quality and look like they were made by Firaxis. He also updated the template descriptions so enjoy!

試驗場和研究所項目一般在遊戲後期便會消耗殆盡,模組會在遊戲要求建設「靈能之門」(「暗影艙」升級)後解鎖新項目。

基礎研究時間為7200小時, 隨後每次研究會將需時增加1200小時。 基於玩家們常招攬6-7名人員, 各項技術仍需約10天方可完成, 免得研究「變種人數據存儲装置破譯」或「外星人數據緩存破譯」變得徒勞。

可派工程師或科學家們去擭取情報( 30 )、物資( 50 )、合金( 15 )或核心 ( 10 )。 可合成核心,但該選項需耗水晶 ( 5 )、合金( 10 )和補給( 50 )且耗時。 核心可在試驗場或研究所合成,二者甚至可同時合成兩個核心以達致一石二鳥。

模組在舊有存檔測試結果不如人意,建議玩家設立一個全新存檔。

Thank you for this. This filled my niche need to put all the idle engineers to work. I was about to just bite the bullet and try to make a mod to convert scientists/engineers into soldiers with a starter specialization (medic/engineer respectively). This saved me from doing so. :chocola2:

Completed "Tech_EndgameRepeatableEleriumCoreSCI" on 6th March 2036.

The message in the unlock window was:
"Produced March Core(s)"

So I'm just going to change
UnlockedDescription="Produced <XGParam:StrValue0/!Quantity/> Core(s)"
to
UnlockedDescription="Produced 1 Elerium Core"

As it's always one Core.
