試驗場和研究所項目一般在遊戲後期便會消耗殆盡,模組會在遊戲要求建設「靈能之門」(「暗影艙」升級)後解鎖新項目。
基礎研究時間為7200小時, 隨後每次研究會將需時增加1200小時。 基於玩家們常招攬6-7名人員, 各項技術仍需約10天方可完成, 免得研究「變種人數據存儲装置破譯」或「外星人數據緩存破譯」變得徒勞。
可派工程師或科學家們去擭取情報( 30 )、物資( 50 )、合金( 15 )或核心 ( 10 )。 可合成核心,但該選項需耗水晶 ( 5 )、合金( 10 )和補給( 50 )且耗時。 核心可在試驗場或研究所合成,二者甚至可同時合成兩個核心以達致一石二鳥。
模組在舊有存檔測試結果不如人意,建議玩家設立一個全新存檔。

I sent you friend invite, I'll send you TGA if you'd like to update this mod and give it some visual polish instead of recycling the Elerium research image.
So yeah.. sending them out raiding for Intel and making cores and whatnot... brilliant! ^-^
I won't be running it this play obviously, as I actually RTFM and note you mentioned it doesn't play nice with existing campaigns, but it's going right on top of the "For next run" pile, which will directly follow this one and likely be a full on Impossible/Iron run just for giggles.
I can only assume the two "sub-parts" of that mod (one allows core crafting only, the other suit crafting/upgrades only) should also work, if you only wanted one or the other.

Is it possible to have engineers and scientists occassionally get injured or die on these missions? After all, Advent Earth is a dangerous place!
Maybe toggle-able so those who don't want it can avoid it.
