試驗場和研究所項目一般在遊戲後期便會消耗殆盡,模組會在遊戲要求建設「靈能之門」(「暗影艙」升級)後解鎖新項目。

基礎研究時間為7200小時, 隨後每次研究會將需時增加1200小時。 基於玩家們常招攬6-7名人員, 各項技術仍需約10天方可完成, 免得研究「變種人數據存儲装置破譯」或「外星人數據緩存破譯」變得徒勞。

可派工程師或科學家們去擭取情報( 30 )、物資( 50 )、合金( 15 )或核心 ( 10 )。 可合成核心,但該選項需耗水晶 ( 5 )、合金( 10 )和補給( 50 )且耗時。 核心可在試驗場或研究所合成,二者甚至可同時合成兩個核心以達致一石二鳥。

模組在舊有存檔測試結果不如人意,建議玩家設立一個全新存檔。

Thank you for this. This filled my niche need to put all the idle engineers to work. I was about to just bite the bullet and try to make a mod to convert scientists/engineers into soldiers with a starter specialization (medic/engineer respectively). This saved me from doing so. :chocola2:

Completed "Tech_EndgameRepeatableEleriumCoreSCI" on 6th March 2036.

The message in the unlock window was:
"Produced March Core(s)"

So I'm just going to change
UnlockedDescription="Produced <XGParam:StrValue0/!Quantity/> Core(s)"
to
UnlockedDescription="Produced 1 Elerium Core"

As it's always one Core.

@advent avenger I am using this mod and decided to make a couple of custom graphics for the research and project entries.

I sent you friend invite, I'll send you TGA if you'd like to update this mod and give it some visual polish instead of recycling the Elerium research image.

I know this is old, but it seems that pausing the research for making elerium cores, doing another research and then going back to it later will prevent you from getting cores after the research is complete.

I just completed a WOTC campaign with 104 mods including this one. This worked fine.

Anyways... that said, @ ADVENT Avenger : This is a marvelous idea. I'm at a point in the replay I mention above where basically I'm stalling on the "Golden Path" because I just wanna get all the breakthroughs that pop up and whatnot, and really, I've no motivation to bugger with the stupid shadow projects at this point, but... as you're aware, this causes me to have tons of Sci/Eng people sitting around doing jack-all (all the while giving me stupid warning icons.. bleh)

So yeah.. sending them out raiding for Intel and making cores and whatnot... brilliant! ^-^

I won't be running it this play obviously, as I actually RTFM and note you mentioned it doesn't play nice with existing campaigns, but it's going right on top of the "For next run" pile, which will directly follow this one and likely be a full on Impossible/Iron run just for giggles. :vert:

First, @ AzureTerra : Not to detract in any way from this mod, but though you might like to know that I'm like 200 hours into an extended replay, and Elerium Gronuds is working perfectly. Now and then, opening Build Items / Proving Ground Projects doesn't list the "add-in" stuff, but if you just click out, then back into the same list, they pop right up.

I can only assume the two "sub-parts" of that mod (one allows core crafting only, the other suit crafting/upgrades only) should also work, if you only wanted one or the other.

(splitting this. Stupid TL:DR rules. lol)

It's possible to do but it's more complex than a Covert Action entry saying "AmbushAvailable=True". I know it exists, the Chosen have injured one of my Engineers at one time but I wouldnt know where to start to be honest.

Nice one. Quick thought that occurred to me:
Is it possible to have engineers and scientists occassionally get injured or die on these missions? After all, Advent Earth is a dangerous place!
Maybe toggle-able so those who don't want it can avoid it.

It's cool to have something to do while in the end game stages. I always feel kind of sad for Tygan just idling there not being needed anymore.

maybe a new type of mission can be done using the engineers can go on defense missions where they have to setup sentries in resistance outposts and need to be protected by an onslaught of aliens this could also become a useful benefit as a perk can be added to this mission making it harder for chosen to permanently reduce supplies

It's just so you get a bonus for having Techs or Scientists when everything is done. They can generate any resource over time in small quantities. When you have no projects to complete, your scientists or techs that are not sloted into specific facilities are not doing anything anymore and are basically mostly useless.

So if you are out of things to research or build, what is the purpose of sending out for supplies or alloys? Elerium Cores makes sense, because loads of stuff require those. But maybe I am missing some of the purpose of this mod.
