Description
At last! A working Cargo Station that will process multiple trucks simultaneously. Superior to all other "multi track" stations you can presently find in the workshop, which only accomplish multiple trains, while still forcing hundreds of busy trucks to still queue up in a single lane. The Quad Core Cargo Station features four internal roads to easily calm down even the busiest industrial zones.

The quad platforms are fully functional, both for imports and exports, although the tracks have been intentionally left out, with just a small stub to let you know where the four rail lines should be. This gives you the freedom to draw your own train tracks, or use custom high speed rails, you can curve, attach long, short, one way, two way, rails according to your city's needs. I know how annoying it is to have those long straight lines preventing you from building, so I will not limit your creativity and choice. If you choose to skimp on space, though, be aware that trains will spawn right in the middle of empty space. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter - the trains themselves will still run.

You will need Building Anarchy to place the Quad Core Cargo Station without the roadside required error message (Or you can just place a road and delete it after putting the building). The Quad Core Cargo Station doesn't need no damn roadside, since it comes ready made with four of its own roads. These are narrow one lane, one way roads, so you will need Network Extensions 2.

I have included two versions of the Quad Core Cargo Station, one handles traffic flowing counterclockwise, and one handles clockwise traffic. This means the Quad Core Cargo Station will service both LHD and RHD cities, and incoming trucks will never block the outgoing trucks, like what happens with the game's vanilla cargo station.

If you wish to design your own even more powerful Station (like an Eight Core Cargo Station), look to the Truck Terminal, a fully functional cargo substation template. The Truck Terminal, in both the regular and reversed versions, is the critical engine behind the Quad Core Cargo Station, which will not function without it.

Note - Although listed as a park, it will still appear as a cargo station under your Train Transportation tab.

Hi,
I would like to know in general about the cargo station system:
Are they also exchanging the goods for train to train?
Because the stations IO used they seem to put everything on trucks .. the truck go a round back to the station and then it go on another train.

Still works!! Amazing asset, going to change some of the props, mainly for the Spawn Point building, but all four lanes and tracks working for import and export, was skeptical at first but damn. If your wanting import and export for each line, each one needs it's own outside connection, which can be accomplished with the Unlimited Outside Connections mod. Otherwise you could use some of the lines for intercity cargo transport, like to another station or an Airport Terminal.

oof, wish this didn't require network extensions 2

Works perfectly in my city, having a LHD and a RHD in the centre of my map, each train line connected to only one counter station. It is the only 4 plus lines trainstation which supported in my map actually export AND import at these multi-line stations on each line.
Therefore brilliant proof of concept. Now it needs aesthetically some fine tuning since it's only four lines with four straight one way roads next to it, trainstation tracks are minimalistic, trucks spawning the wrong way around in sheds, which are half on the roads. So this should become a blank set to be filled with props by the gamer or alternatively enhanced with better placed and better looking buildings.
Btw: Building Anarchy is not required, instead Fine Road Anarchy is the mod required for placing these stations.
These stations are recommended!

seems to still work for me

Is this still working ? I used it a few months ago and it was fine. New PC and despite installing everything on the "list" it wont "plop" on or off the road. Before I used to just plop it down where I wanted it and then replace the road.

That's gonna be the first cargo station on workshop that has more than two tracks actually working and not staying there pretty.
Amazing :)

You nees to activate them. I just retested a plop on a vanilla city with just req mods and it works fine.

To my knowledge, it shouldnt clash with any known mod either.
