There is a compatibility issue between this mod and RimSaves. Because RimSaves implements virtual "folders" by pre-pending the folder name as part of the save filename, this mod gets confused and can't find the save to write the mod metadata into.

@Zebrakiller -- it only shows up when you load a saved game after making changes to the active mods list. (e.g. adding or removing mods). It's triggered when a mod that was used is removed, or a new mod is added. To try it out, make a 'saved game', close the game, add or remove a mod, reload the game and load the game you saved.

For anyone who knows, what happens when I enabled either of the two mod options in the settings?

Enable version checking
Enable writing mod metadata to the save

Both are disabled by default. The second one is recommended to be enabled, in the tooltip.

How do you actually use this? I added it to the game and don't see anything?

Feature request: have an option to only show the changes. It's annoying to have to scroll down through a list of 150+ items just to confirm that the only change was adding that one new mod that I've just added to this playthrough.

Thanks for creating this mod. I've played many games using it. It made managing my ever-growing collection of mods much easier. It's awesome that it was included in the base version of the game. That seems like a great honor for the author. :cozyfallout4:
