LNER 2-6-6-2 Gigantic (Fictional)

Description
This is a fictional British-style Mallet engine in the LNER style.

I decided to make this on a bit of a whim, because I wanted to do something a bit out there. And while the original 2-8-8-2 I started with was a bit too absurd (and also did NOT like sharp corners and looked kind of ridiculous when navigating them), lopping off a couple of driving axles actually wound up that looks, to me at least, almost....semi-plausible.

So if you're playing with a British-themed map and need a heavy freight engine for whatever reason, now you have one!

Comes with tinting compatability, reverse versions, logo support, aging, and placeable assets. Also included is an auxiliary tender (or canteen), also with all of the above features.

Stats are as follows:

It could also be one of my mods like last time lol. I haven't tested yet.

They are fully visible, its not a big deal but they do clip into the drive wheels.

@Dourbracken: Are they actually visible? Or are they only visible when you highlight it?

The model has two axles which have an 'invisible' material over them so you can't see them unless the engine is highlighted. It's a bit of a cheat/workaround I've used on this, the Quintuplex and the Garratt to make sure the boiler part of the model pivots where I want it to.

I will have a look at hiding them better so they're less noticeable on selection/highlight, though.

Hi, it seems to have a strange glitch where it has an extra couple of wheels underneath the driving axles. Probably just me, but I thought I should bring it to your attention. Awesome mod!

Almost looks like a real loco. A prototype, let's say.

Question, why not a 4-4+4-4 for express work? I mean, on the LNER it'd make sense for express work, especially on the aberdeen line in the highlands, where a 4-8-4 would never fit because of the curvature of the track?

Damn, great job! i'm looking forward to anything else you do.

Thanks for this. I've been using the AD60 Garratt for heavy haulage on iron ore trains.

Yeah, sorry folks, but the likelihood of me doing another Garratt is....low. At least not until TpF2 and my knowledge of modelling and animating improves somewhat for it to be a less monumental task. >.>
