It could also be one of my mods like last time lol. I haven't tested yet.

They are fully visible, its not a big deal but they do clip into the drive wheels.

@Dourbracken: Are they actually visible? Or are they only visible when you highlight it?

The model has two axles which have an 'invisible' material over them so you can't see them unless the engine is highlighted. It's a bit of a cheat/workaround I've used on this, the Quintuplex and the Garratt to make sure the boiler part of the model pivots where I want it to.

I will have a look at hiding them better so they're less noticeable on selection/highlight, though.

Hi, it seems to have a strange glitch where it has an extra couple of wheels underneath the driving axles. Probably just me, but I thought I should bring it to your attention. Awesome mod!

Almost looks like a real loco. A prototype, let's say.

Question, why not a 4-4+4-4 for express work? I mean, on the LNER it'd make sense for express work, especially on the aberdeen line in the highlands, where a 4-8-4 would never fit because of the curvature of the track?

Damn, great job! i'm looking forward to anything else you do.

Thanks for this. I've been using the AD60 Garratt for heavy haulage on iron ore trains.
Green Ranger (aka Gr1m)  [author] 6 Oct, 2019 @ 6:04am
Yeah, sorry folks, but the likelihood of me doing another Garratt is....low. At least not until TpF2 and my knowledge of modelling and animating improves somewhat for it to be a less monumental task. >.>

To all of you asking him for the LNER U1, do not expect him to make it.
He made it very clear in the description of the Australian garrat he made that he would not make another garrat again, because of how difficult it is to create such an engine in TpF.
(this is not a hatefull comment, just a little heads-up about a previous statement by gr1m)

thank you

Amazing more plase could the next one be LNER U1 thanks.:steamhappy:
Mr_Stromax 5 Oct, 2019 @ 12:07pm
If you look up LNER U1, you get a Beyer Garrat prototype that the LNER made for heavy coal trains. So if you want to make a real version, you can try that.

for a challenge, try shrinking or enlarging your published models, such as your lbscr tanks

thank you grim

Wheel layout reminds me of an LMS Garrett. very plausible i think.

Far a fictional engine that looks very authentic. Well done.
Taron 5 Oct, 2019 @ 4:39am
For example Fyra, Flirt or an older electric, diesel or steam engine!
Taron 5 Oct, 2019 @ 4:38am
Yes please do!!! Would be cool to see a Dutch locomotive!!
olaf.reininga 5 Oct, 2019 @ 3:00am
Ah yes, more fictional marvels. It indeed looks like something that, in some alternate timeline, could have steamed across British rails.
I've tried to keep this question to myself for as long as I could, but I just can't wait anymore.
Is there a chance you could create a model of a steam locomotive from my home country, the Netherlands?
By no means do we have as large of a history as the UK, and our engines never got to a great size (4-6-0 for tenders and 4-8-4 for tanks), but I feel like we're kinda left out after 2 years of awesome models of British, American, German and Russian locomotives
