Midwife's Book on Contraception

A book that gives a massive fertility penalty while equipped so that you can choose to not have kids without celibacy.

In the middle ages women's reproductive health was a great mystery, to men. Women however had shared information about birth control and pregnancy through informal networks since antiquity.

Female characters can get the book simply by taking an intrigue decision. There is a small cost of piety and gold but they will get also get a chance to earn a point in the learning attribute.

Male characters must target (right click) a female character with the mystic trait who either owes them a favor or has 100 personal opinion of them. They must pay a little bit more piety and gold for the book, and they will not gain any learning points.

Both decisions are only available to the player and can only be taken once per character. The book can only be equipped by the player. It cannot be gifted. It can be inherited.
