Description
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
o 8 Feb 2014: Updated Mod to current Game Patch. CA once again a few things that have me stumped - like where to increase the number of horses for mount units - but I will figure it out. For its working with exsisting Campaign and New Games.
o 20 Dec: Patch 8 and Beta 8.1 compatible. I think I was able to change research back to 1 turn - I need to test still.
o 19 Dec: Patch 8 Updated and Working. However, a few things I still need to work on.
- 1 turn construction for Rome is working, but research is not. CA deleted an entire database element I could change for research times. So now I must hunt and find where they moved it to and how.
- Lowered all Rome's building costs, but still need to adjust some faction effects.
I tested with my ongoing Legandary Campaign and a brand new Campaign and its working.
o 15 Nov: Patch 7 updated. Still fixing a few things, but the game works. CA is changing a lot of things. Will take a little bit to figure out compatibleness.
o 8 Nov Update: Mod changed to now be compatible with all DLC and Patches.

For a "richer" Rome experience, try my related mods... Ed's Augustus Roman Campaign mod and Ed's Augustus Battle Bldg mod found here on Steam also.

I freely admit they are over-balanced towards Rome, but that's what I like. Rome should kick ♥♥♥. Each one replaces the same name related excellent mod created by Radious (without whom I wouldn't have played this game past the week of release) /salute Radious.

If you don't like them that's okay -- to each their own. I just like playing a Rome that actually can conquer the Med. Sea Basin and keep it without all the stupid CA game "balances"--I mean come on the game allows little pissant tribes to beat down on major powers is BS. Still pisses me off I cannot prevent Germanic tribes for having Ballistas (dumb) for example - lol.

With all 3 of these mods Rome enjoys 1) One turn research 2) Cheaper buildings (so you can focus on your military) 3) Lower upkeep rates for units 4) More armies and navies and spy/champ/digs (this will go to all factions so it will get "spammed" at you - but I love killing spies!) 5) Much faster xp gains for all Generals/Admirals, and spy/champ/digs (this will go to ALL factions, lvl10 spies are no joke) 6) Much younger Ages for important people (i.e. you will get generals that are 22 years old, and champs around 25) 7) Modified some building stats to increase their value to the Rome faction (not just locally) 8) 1 turn construction -- so you are not playing SimCity with a broken squalor/food component for 65 turns, but instead you can actually wage war...and tons of other stuff!

Bottomline: You as Rome will have a lot more gold to play with--this increases the fun of the Politics for example as now you can afford to bribe, marry, kill opponents, etc. Also you will be able to buy allies more easily (and trading routes). This makes building the iconic Roman Faction buildings like Circus Maximus and the Flavian Amphitheatre with ease.

Hi my friend, I have been looking for a mod that brings back the old bribery system from the first Rome Total War. I have not been able to find anything, yours seems to be the closest. And I was wondering and hoping maybe you can make a new mod focusing on just that? Basically just two things. The first would be bribing armies to join your faction or armies from your faction being bribed into joining the enemies faction. And the 2nd thing would being able to give cities or towns to make peace or demand cities or towns to make peace. So I was just Wondering if think youd have the time and the heart to help me sir? I would be forever in your debt. Whatever you choose to do, please respond to let me know your answer. Just so im not wondering for the rest of my life ya know? lol. Peace to you and I hope you have a great day sir. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Frankly the only way I see to get your attention is to write comments on every one of your mods for this game. Let me know when you start to listen. Seriousy, the last time you responded to any one of several comments and message is March, it is now June. If its work, personal issues, or other circumstances preventing you from FIXING your MODS, let me and the community know asap , and I can see you are online at this point in time, so this is no reason you cannot atleast offer an explaination.

Seriously, I do not think I am being unreasonable when I ask that you update your mods for this game asap, considering that I have stated previously that my game has become dependent on your mods and, when I attempt to even load the game with aforementioned mods suscribed, it crashes or fails to load. I feel that you have a responsibilty to maintain these modifications that you release to the public and when that product ceases to work as advertised than you sir have a problem that needs to be resovlved. Thank you for your work on these mods thus far, but I think we deserve an explaination.

Hey Ed, have been able to work on your Rome II mods? Like, at all? I still cannot access my campaign and, as I have stated before, I really enjoy playing this game with your mods. If you can take some time out of your day and, you know, update your mods, that would be great.
