Landsknecht (Etrian Odyssey IV)

Description
The Landsknecht from Etrian Odyssey IV joins the battle!

Swordsmen skilled at melee attacks with swords or rapiers. They take the lead, raising the rest of the party's morale.

Neutral special: Afterimage
Hold the Special button to charge up an Afterimage. When your outline is red, your Afterimage will remember the next move you hit the opponent with, ready to use it again (an orange outline indicates that an attack is ready).

Once the attack is ready, press the Special button to place your Afterimage at your current location (and your outline changes to green). The next time you press the Special button, the Afterimage will perform whatever attack it remembered.

If you want to change the attack your Afterimage remembered, hold the control stick down and taunt.
Or to remove a placed Afterimage but not reset its attack, hold the control stick up and taunt.
* Afterimages cannot use Special attacks.

Side special: Drive Blade
An explosive attack with the powerful Drive Blade. After use, the Drive Blade overheats, and can't unleash its full power again until it cools down (and the cooldown meter reads "Ready!").
If the attack misses, the Drive Blade emits a sword beam that acts as a projectile.
The Drive Blade's full strength also can't be used while airborne.
While the cooldown meter is red, the Drive Blade can't be used at all until the cooldown meter depletes to orange.

If you land three (+1 for each stock you lost) successful full-power hits, you'll temporarily enter Ignition mode (indicated by a green meter), during which your attack power and movement speed all increase greatly.
During Ignition, the Drive Blade's true power is unlocked, enabling the powerful Overdrive attack if you land the blade's strong hit - strong enough to instantly KO anyone it hits who's at 120% damage or higher.

Up special 1: Rising Blow
A rising uppercut attack that launches you high into the air. Has decent vertical recovery, but isn't great for horizontal recovery.

Up special 2: Afterimage Reposition
If an Afterimage is placed, Up special instead swaps your position with that of the Afterimage, and dispels the Afterimage.

Down special: Sagittarius Shot
A shot with a bow and arrow that rises high into the air before falling back to earth. Hold down the Special button to charge the shot, increasing damage and distance travelled.

not a bad charachter but the specials and not being able to have your clone copy them is holding it back from being a very unique mechanic

Forward air is meant as a finisher (due to the spike), not a combo tool, so I don't think that needs changing.

Already tweaked a couple of other moves to flow better, I'll look at the rest if/when I get more feedback on them.

I think moves like f-air should have less landing lag, as it's pretty much impossible to combo with them.

@Blake the Snake
Can you be more specific on that? Like, do you think she has too much difficulty following up on air moves, or something else?
Blake the Snake 7 Nov, 2019 @ 5:10pm
You should reduce the landing lag, it's too much

This is pretty cool, that's quite A LOT of subclassing

You should probably add that you can only land the strong hit of side-special when your cooldown bar is completely recharged and that the Overdrive attack is found by hitting the strong hit of side-special during ignition. These are kinda common sense but aren't really clarified. Otherwise I didn't any glaring issues and the mod is interesting particularly the after-image IMO.
