T.N.F. Frigate Class 'Ravager' Mk.I

Description
Hunting alone or in small squadrons, the Ravager class frigates provide escort for lawful traders, perform raids on the numerous pirate bases, or reconnoitre potential targets for larger squadrons. If the Malignants and Agitators are the heavy-hitting fists of the Fleet, the Ravagers are the swarm of wasps in the pirate-infested edges of Fleet-controlled space. For every Inferno, there are a hundred Ravagers.

Ravagers operate far away from recruitment and training stations, and available crewmembers are scarce. Similar to the comparable Lancehead and Nosferatu frigate classes, the crew complement is therefore small. All crew members are therefore thoroughly cross-trained in the specializations and roles other than their own, which makes personnel that have served on a Ravager-class highly independent and sought after in the Fleet.

The Ravager is space-only, and it is highly unsafe to fly in gravity above 0.3 G, even with its hydrogen thrusters on. However, it can easily negotiate the gravity of a common moon with ion thrusters alone. It carries a module which can fire, and reload, a missile guided by Whip's Optical Missile Guidance Script . The guidance system allows the Ravager to manually guide the missile towards a chosen point of impact. It also carries on-board production equipment to produce its own ammunition and components, and a Ceres Mk.IV Mining Drone for resource gathering in space.

are the port and starboard modules designed to carry something specific?

The missile turrets take damage from the forward ion thrusters. A slight redesign would fox this issue

@Leprechaunlock: I suddenly wanted to make a ship that had (for me at least) fewer tanks, production equipment, welders, weapons, PCU, etc., to make survival and combat contracts a bit more challenging. So I made it in a few days, and it is now my main survival ship.

@Koekiemonster125: Thank you!
