Boss Wipe Recovery

Allows you to recover items and dinos brought into boss arenas, if you or your dinos die during the boss encounter. Recovery works even if dinos are left alive in the arena when the last player dies!

Recovery buffs, described below, become activated once players & dinos enter a boss arena.

Build the Recovery Station to craft Recovery Stones and recover items/dinos after wiping in a boss arena.

Consume a recovery stone to get a recovery buff that will last for 2 hours. The stones can be used from within your dino's inventory to give them a recovery buff too. There are also more expensive stones that provide an AoE buff to nearby dinos and players in your tribe. The recovery buffs fully activate once you teleport to the boss arena- you will see the icon change and a message at top of screen.

Player recovery will get the items recovered and place them into your inventory. If a recovered item was equipped / slotted it will be re-equipped / re-slotted if it can.

Dino recovery works 2 ways. If recovery type is items-only those items recovered will be put into your inventory. If recovery type includes dino resurrection the dino and all recovered items will be placed into a Recovery Pod added to your inventory.

Recovery Pod is a special type of cryopod that does not spoil and does not give you or the contained dino cryo sickness upon release. When released from the Recovery Pod the dino will be exactly as it was upon death (albeit at full health), with saddle and inventory items.

Note: To avoid potential exploits the Recovery Pod cannot be admin spawned. If you do that the mod will detect it and automatically destroy the item. Also the dino within cannot be released near enemy structures.

• The better recovery stones have dynamic crafting costs based on map, see Engram & Crafting Details.
  
• There are "Arena Active" stat buffs scaled based on recovery stone consumed, see Item Details / Spawn Commands for details.
  
• Admins have an additional UI available that allows the recovery of orphaned player/dino data. Orphaned data will occur if a player rolls a new character without first recovering items or for dinos, if the player leaves the tribe (or did not have a tribe or merges tribes) before recovering all dinos and no other players exist in that tribe. Admins have the choice to either recover the items/dinos (and then use their admin means to gift said items/dinos to players) or they can opt to just delete the orphaned data.
  
• Admin UI also allows the management of any archived player/dino data- if player/dino data decay & archival is turned on. See Config Settings for details.
