Description
Introduced for the 1987 model year and based on the Porsche 911, the CTR featured an enlarged and highly tuned version of Porsche's 3.2 litre flat-six cylinder engine, lightened body panels, an integrated roll cage (adding chassis stiffness in addition to occupant safety), upgraded suspension and braking systems, a custom-designed transmission, and several unique trim pieces such as polyurethane bumpers, and the use of the side mounted oil filler (a Porsche feature for the 1972 MY only) necessitated by relocating the oil tank forward to clear the intercooler on that side.

The car received its nickname, "Yellowbird", during testing by Road & Track magazine, whose staff members noted the contrast created by its yellow paintwork against the overcast skies on the day of their photo shoot

Front ARB -3, rear ARB -2 -> car becomes almost neutral. -4 / 0 -> driftcar.
After dialing out the turn in understeer + turn out oversteer it's very enjoyable but you have to be patient with this car, this is not GT3.
Some skins would be nice.
Thanks.

Can someone please make a proper setup for this and share it. The car has too much understeer. Too much.

This car deserves an update. :)

This is my favorite car in all of rF2.
Humble thanks to the modder.

Super mod despite being 0.5. Can you replace the driver model with something newer with helmet and gloves, like the modern GT3? This guy looks like cartoon zombie from half life era.

This car does have an incredible amount of under steer that you learn how to work with. It's very similar to how it is in Assetto Corsa so I would say it's pretty accurate.

Great car, thank you! There's something strange about the grip levels on this car, though. The fronts have no grip even though ffb force is strong. It's strange. I get that rear-engined cars exhibit understeer but there's no way a driver in a real car would be feeling this level of understeer for the level of strength coming through the wheel. It's weird.

This car is fantastic, really well done.
I bean driving manual and heal n toe for a few hours and boy is it a handful to get right.
Can I suggest you watch a video on YT its called Getaway in Stockholm Porsche 911 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtHaoHix96U
It would be the icing on the cake if you can get the off throttle sound a little louder and throatier throughout the rev range

This is the absolute best version of this car I have ever driven. I have driven a late 80's 911 Turbo (aka 930) IRL and, while not precisely the same car, the essential nature of it has been perfectly replicated here. The way you use the rear weight bias to get the car turned in, is just right. The tires are also incredible, feeling like street tires should (but not wobbly, like in AC). If anyone ever wants to know how an 80's turbo 911 felt to drive, this is as close as you're likely to get without dropping $100k + on a real one. 11/10 rating.
