WW2 SAS Raid: El Alamein [SP]

Description
Command your SAS troop to victory raiding Axis strongpoints from behind enemy lines during the battle of El Alamein!

Features:
* Authentic WW2 singleplayer mission in the spirit of H&D 2
* Multiple approaches to completing some objectives
* Recruit up to 6 men at a time to your group, each with different specialties
* Access to weaponry, explosives, and vehicles from your F.O.B.
* Skip time at campfires to switch between day/night ops
* Unlockable fast travel points
* Randomized unit presence adds variety to multiple playthroughs
* Call in mortar support (beta)

Author's Notes:
* This is my first scenario for Arma 3, used to edit SP scenarios for A2/OA/CO.
* Note that the first task is just the beginning of the mission, more tasks unlock as you play through.
* This is a beta release, some bugs may exist. Also, it's Arma, so there are bound to be things that will affect your playthrough.
* The SAS focused much of their efforts during the Second Battle of El Alamein on disruptive raids far behind enemy lines to the west in Libya. The map has been sectioned off to capture the ideal terrain for this fictional operation, imagine the AO is west of where it’s actually located in this map.
* It's the closest I could get with the tools at-hand, if you spot something that could be made more realistic or historically-accurate within what's possible in the game, please leave a comment with details!
* If you know of any useful scripts, supports, or other easy to implement features, please leave a comment with details!

Sorry, this old relic was my first release for Arma 3, I can't get it to open properly in Eden myself. As a fellow H&D2 fan, that was my itch as well. I have a few more recent releases in the WWII setting for the Spearhead 1944 CDLC that are stable and not reliant on addons that can break over time, but neither of those are H&D2-inspired.

Hey I know this mod is pretty old now but I was really enjoying the missions. I played a lot of H&D 2 growing up, and I was craving an updated gameplay. It's hard to find stuff that scratches that itch but arma 3 custom missions do! : D
Anyway, I am unable to get past the Burke objective, I saw a patch note saying you've already tried to fix this before and I was wondering if you had any advice or console commands I could use to progress? Thanks either way and nice mod : )

Okay so it looks like IFA3 and IFA3 Lite and their dependencies are conflicting in some way. Also ww2 british marker is missing.

Hey I keep seeing MAS WW2 is missing in the launch files. I'm fairly sure everything is downloaded though.

Thanks for reporting the issue. I have made updates to OSS Tunisia Ops and Big Red One in Tunisia. They now also have AI revive and some light post-processing for style. Please give them a try again when you have time and let me know on the respective pages if you run into any issues, or to share your playthrough!

I tried to load the scenario in the editor and indeed it was missing assets from a couple of old, outdated mods. I have merged it and attempted a quick fix, see if it works for you now. Note: this is the very first scenario I ever released for A3, so it may be a bit rough around the edges. Since I was being lazy at the time and included some variables in the init of the mission.sqm instead of in a separate file as I do now, some variables may be missing. If you want to try this out and test it, let me know if you run into any other bugs. I added a couple new features to the mission in this update too, including AI revive script, so it may be a bit better even.

Hello, yes I think there is a problem, I have enabled both mods, US General Equipment and Accessories and US GEAr: Units (FOW / IFA3). I don't know if I'm the only one, but this problem is also present on three of your other missions:
WW2 OSS Ops: Tunisia [SP]
WW2 Big Red One in Tunisia [SP]
WW2 SAS Raid: El Alamein [SP].

Not sure, maybe due to the US Gear and Accessories addon ended up splitting into a separate mod and the previous one became US GEAR Units?
