These achievements are the easiest to earn and can be earned in your first few games.

Name:

Hat out of Hell

Description:

Get the loot from Skull Island in Hell

How to earn:

Once one of the mann brothers' bodies has been sent to hell, all mercenaries will aswell and be pitted against each other in a deathmatch. You have only one life in this hell stage and the team who scored the cart first starts with an overheal boost. The team that first gets to the book on skull Island wins the game and this achievement. Try to annihilate the enemy team by all means and once you get to the skull, defend it from enemies that might still be alive. When the cage lowers you can touch the book.

Special:

This achievement does not count to the Mann-tastic Four Achievement. It does however, award you with an Unfilled Fancy Spellbook.

Helltower: Hell on Wheels

Description:

Send Redmond/Blutarch to Hell 10 times

How to earn:

Be at the cart once it reaches its final destination ten times. It can really help to be a class that is good at pushing, like scout, soldier, demoman and pyro. Don't go engineer or sniper as they are bad pushing classes and only encourage stalemates, making this achievement harder to get. If your victory:loss ratio is higher than 1, you should be able to earn this achievements in under 20 games.

Helltower: Hell's Spells

Description:

Get and use a rare spell

How to earn:

Rare spells, or ultimate spells as they're also called are much stronger spells, but also much rarer. They don't drop like regular spells but can only be acquired through a few means:

• When the skeleton king, who spawns during the witching hour is killed, he drops an ultimate spellbook. It can be easily identified because it's purple instead of green
  
• When you go over the bridge and reach merasmus' house during the witching hour and go through the book, you will be send back to spawn with a speed and health bonus and you will receive a random ultimate spell
  
• In hell there are two locations where ultimate spell books spawn naturally, one in the tower and another on a small platform right to the end of the bridge that leads to skull Island

These achievements are a bit harder to get, but can still be achieved with some dedication.

Name:

Helltower: Spelling Spree

Description:

Use spells to kill 25 players

How to earn:

This achievement shouldn't be too hard. Make sure to familiarize yourself with most spells and know how to use them right. During the witching hour, if you're a scout, soldier or demoman you can get the ultimate spell up to three times if you're fast enough, which can net you a lot of kills.

Helltower: Skeleton Coup

Description:

Kill 99 skeletons

How to earn:

Skeletons will spawn naturally during the witching hour or when summoned by someone as an ultimate spell. The naturally spawning ones are green while the summoned ones will be team colored. Soldier and demoman are best at exterminating skeletons(sticky bombs and rockets) and can cause splash damage to easily clear out lots of skeletons. Keep in mind that when regular sized skeletons are killed will drop 3 small skeletons, so make sure to kill those too. Watch out for the skeleton king, as he is much tougher than the other skeletons.

Helltower: Mine Games

Description:

Perform 17 environmental kills in Hell

How to earn:

The most obvious way to earn this would be to go pyro and airblast everybody off but in all the hecticness of combat it is not uncommon for people to accidentaly fall in. An easy way to get environmental kills is to shoot shotgun pellets at long range at the enemies. Even if it deals only 3 damage, if they jump into the lava after that it counts as an environmental kill. If you manage to get a bat spell you can also shoot the enemy flying in the air and hope they fall in the lava or die of fall damage.

These two achievements are the hardest to get, so don't expect to earn them before the event ends.

The Mann-tastic Four

Description:

Earn 4 of the Helltower Achievements

How to earn:

The most likely is that you get Hell on Wheels and Hell's Spells first and then two of the medium spells: Skeleton Coup, Mine Games or Spelling Spree.

Special:

Earning this achievements grants you a 'Tumidum' Spellbook page that can be used on a fancy spellbook.

Name:

Helltower: Competitive Spirit

Description:

Win 142 Rounds

How to earn:

This event only lasts for a limited time so I doubt many people can actually get it. I don't know what Valve was thinking when they added this achievement, even if this wasn't a Halloween achievement it would still be pretty stupid. The best thing to do is to accept that you can't get this achievement.
