Description
Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions, a division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, presents Claw XL Electric Miner with four optimally-spaced drills (based on the not-so-famous, but highly successful Sprite offworld miner), and one (1) medium and two (2) large cargo containers for ore storage. With realistic (i.e., 1-1-1) settings, the ore capacity of the cargo containers, cockpit, connector, four drills, and the player (at 10X capacity) is approximately 147 tons, with an additional 3 tons for ice in the O2/H2 generator. Each drill is equipped with a conveyor sorter and ejector to collect only ore (and ice) and dump stone. Claw XL, with two large cargo containers instead of one, is the big brother to the Claw Electric Miner:

Comprised of only 243 blocks, Claw XL is highly optimized to be a low-cost, high-capacity mining solution for a survival startup.

Claw XL has seven (7) batteries for an abundance of power, and also includes eight (8) small reactors for backup, but the reactors are not required for normal operation. As a tunneler, Claw XL clears a 10-meter square opening. The front-facing connector makes docking and ore-offloading a breeze!

NO MODS, NO DLC, NO ROTORS/PISTONS; SURVIVAL READY AND PROJECTOR BUILDABLE!

SHIP STATISTICS USING REALISTIC SETTINGS
- 243 blocks
- 4,504 PCUs
- 72 tons empty mass
- 221 tons gross mass

Tested extensively in survival conditions, Claw XL has quickly become my favorite planetary miner for early survival play.

{FINAL NOTE: Relative to overall ore capacity, Claw XL is a minor miner in comparison to Deep Reach Miner which is a major miner. If you really want to quickly mine a lot of ore, check out Deep Reach Miner at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1872606578}

They should never hold stone. Is it one drill or all drills? If one drill, look to see if a stone got jammed when ejecting; that sometimes happens. If all drills, exit completely out of SE and Steam, and reload and try again; doing this usually fixes these kinds of problems.

When mining, after i make a trip the drills fill up with stone and wont eject. Any fix?

(I should have also reiterated that the tonnage listed above is based on a realistic (1X) cargo setting.)

Yeah, it'll adjust itself for the player, whether you're playing cargo with 1X, 3X, 5X, or 10X settings, although the thrusters at some point will not keep up with the ore capacity at the higher settings (I think). This spud will certainly carry a decent load, that's for sure.
