[Probably Outdated] Ruler Designer Unlocked! AGOT Supplement

Description
This mod is probably outdated since it hasn't been kept up with. If you examine the files in the mod and the GoT mod, you can put together pretty well how to fix it. That's what I originally did since the first person to make this mod also gave up over time. You just have to create the files that will override the cost of the traits from the GoT mod. Going forward I probably won't be making anymore changes since I don't have time to keep up with it, but I'll keep the info up in case anyone wants to take a stab at it. If a newer one comes out that works, I'll take this down. It's been fun.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

READ ME IF YOU ARE USING THE MOD: Due to the way CK2 is uploading the mod and generating the .mod file, you MUST go and edit the "ruler designer unlocked! agot supplement.mod" file in the mod folder. No clue on why it insists on adding an extra .mod but it is what it is. If you do not edit the file from

dependencies=
{
A Game of Thrones Ruler Designer Unlocked!
}

to

dependencies=
{
"A Game of Thrones" "Ruler Designer Unlocked!"
}

IT WILL NOT WORK. Add the quotes in the right place, save, and enable the mods and you're good to go.

This is a supplemental mod (not standalone) to be used with "A Game of Thrones" and "Ruler Designer Unlocked!" that correctly sets all trait age values to 0. Also fixes "RDU More Options" and RDU traits that affect age. Currently a work in progress and my first mod, so report any bugs!

Credit to kadet4 and his work on the base "Ruler Designer Unlocked!" mod this is based off of.

Compatible with "A Game of Thrones" ver. 2.2

Works great because I'm not an imbecile who can't follow instructions. Thanks!

It's simple, everyone that doesn't get the instructions. Go to your computers Documents>Paradox Interactive>CKII>mod> Then find this mod's (.mod) file. Open it with Notepad.
Find the line starting with dependencies=.
At this point come back to OPs instructions and copy-paste it from dependencies= all the way to the } under "A Game of Thrones" "Ruler Designer Unlocked!".

Go back to the mod file you now have open in Notepad.
Find dependencies=, highlight everything past but including dependencies= all the way to the }.
Paste what you copied from OPs instructions.

Save.
Enjoy Mod.

Ok my brain my be small here but i have no idea where the "" are suppose to go. Are they suppose to go in this Mods Folder? If so where cuz i only see (Common, Decisions, events, the PNG and the descriptor) or is it in one of those, or is it the Mods folder it self?

When you go into your ck2 folder in your documents and go to mod, there is a file called "ruler designer unlocked! agot supplement.mod" that needs to be edited (it might show as "ruler designer unlocked! agot supplement.mod.mod" and that's ok). The whole file will look like this when you are done editing

name="Ruler Designer Unlocked! AGOT Supplement"
archive="mod/ruler designer unlocked! agot supplement.zip"
dependencies=
{
"A Game of Thrones" "Ruler Designer Unlocked!"
}
picture="2019-05-12.PNG"

You add the quotation marks around A Game of Thrones and Ruler Designer Unlocked! because when it downloads, it does not include them because of whatever reason the upload process wants to fight me on.

What I mean is, you say to add quotations to (A Game of Thrones), but the problem is there is both a mod-file and a .mod-file of that name, not including the folder containing data itself.

(“ruler designer unlocked!” agot supplement.mod) , and (“ruler_designer_unlocked!“.mod.mod) are much more self explanatory, but simply saying "A Game of Thrones" doesn't really arrow it down, since this mod has one dependency needing quotations, with a shared name across multiple files and folders.

In theory you could add quotations to each one until it works, but that seems like a lot of work vs just asking you for clarification.

@Conartist223: You'll need all 3. The changes I make in my mod supplement the original "Ruler Designer Unlocked!" but doesn't replace it. And of course the GoT mod is needed for the GoT content, I just can't list it on this page since it's not on the steam store.

For the directions, you'll still need to go edit the "ruler designer unlocked! agot supplement.mod.mod" file that is included in my mod because the ck2 upload messed up the dependencies for whatever reason. Hope that helps.

So I'm not quite sure about the directions, but maybe I'm just dumb.

You say to edit the file, but do you also change kadet4's mod name too? Is it just A Game of Thrones and your mod, or all three?
