Q: Who is the mod for?
A: Anyone who is playing the Grand Campaign with Fall of the Eagles activated and wants to feel more immersed in the campaign map playing as either half of the Roman Empire.

Q: What does this mod do?
A: This mod implements immersion enhancing unit cards for both Roman factions to bring back a more "Latin" feel by using existing resources from Rome II's campaigns. After having extensively played the Empire Divided Campaign pack, and read through an entire encyclopedia on 4th century history, Rome by 395AD is simply a continuation of Roman wars that started in Aurelian's time.

Q: Why was this mod created?
A: Total War Attila has always been a fascinating period of history represented in a video game, It shows the end-times of a civilization spanning over a thousand years. This civilization at it's heart was always "Roman", and I feel Attila was this disconnected continuation of the epic story Rome II started, Empire Divided continued, but felt unfinished even with Attila - mainly because of the extremely jarring unit cards. When I was playing vanilla Attila, I realized I never ended up caring at all about my armies or units, because all the unit cards were bland stains of grey and black. I realized they were completely missing the "human" touch. Remember - this is Rome during a time her tactics changed from front-line assault, to skirmishing ambushes all for the sake of saving as many lives of her armies as possible, because of the critical lack of trained soldiers. Stilicho specifically wanted to ally with Alaric because he needed trained warriors. Having all your unit cards being faceless black and grey stains to throw in endless meatgrinders against the AI does not match that reality.
After having implemented these unit cards, I felt a much stronger connection to my armies, an actually cared in battles to save as many of my own soldiers as possible.

Q: Does this mod have any compatibility issues?
A: This mod can only be played with Fall of the Eagles (FOTE) activated, it will NOT work with Vanilla campaign - You have been advised with this disclaimer.

Mod Details:
1) All Roman units from FotE now have enhanced unit cards reflecting their in-battle representations as close as I could get them to be.
2) This does NOT include any culture or civilization other than Rome, and I have absolutely no plans on doing these for any other cultures (There are not enough resources to do so, and I am not interested in doing it either).

You are now the last bastion of Civilization, and your armies reflect that reality.
