FVR V8Supercars 2019

Description
Please read comments below for latest updates or news.

FVR V8Supercars 2019 V9.xx simulates the 2019 Australian Supercars Championship. The mod has multiple options in it to suit various configurations of how you want to drive. The diff ratios and tyres are set for the Australian tracks, with race changes. There is a Server Edition with open diffs for online racing. Please be mindful these cars run a spool diff which means a fixed axle unlike your normal cars. Therefore you can get extra wear if you are too hard on them and they can tend to try and drive around in a circle at low speed corners. You have to be smooth. They do use an S397 tyre with no changes however the diff will make them unlike a GT3 car. We can assure you they have been driven for hours and hours.

Please understand that if you find a fault this is a constant Work in Progress we are only human let us know as we may be able to update it but enjoy it for the short term. We do this for our own enjoyment and hopefully yours along the way. We aren't a big team and with life getting in the way it just means you get what you paid for. Speaking of which - paypal donations are always appreciated of course - FlashQld@hotmail.com

Image Space Incorporated and S397 for taking rFactor 2 over and allowing us the opportunity to be a part of the success of this and it's predecessor rFactor 1.

This is not a patch - it is a version 9 short for 2019 Series. This is a new package completely. The previous mods will get a rework. You don't need to uninstal previous versions at this stage evcentually be updated.

AND FINALLY AS ALWAYS A BIG SPECIAL THANKS

To our partners, kids and our cats and dogs for putting up with our hobby since we started all these mods. The 2019 mod has taken a extra long time to get to this point as we have lost a few full time members but hopefully what we have put out is worthwhile. We ar getting older. It is a work in progress and will not be worked on any further unless there is something life threatening.

Please ask us, we're not that bad but we have noticed we get really resentful.

@McLaren - there should be no difference. We updated 2018/19 in line with 2020.

I use both 2019 and 2020, i'm only using 2019 because i'm doing a VASC championship with my mates and they say the 2019 cars grip better than the 2020 ones, I don't see the difference
also cheers Flash

@McLaren MCL35 - yes what a pain are the windows, surprised you haven't got the 2020 mod.

It's a bit confusing but for the Ford
Extra2="pitbox"
Extra3="helmet"
Extra4="grille"
Extra5="rims"
Extra6="rimpaint"
Extra7="dash"
Extra8="windowsout"
Extra9="windshieldin"
So you could call it your carnumberwindowsout for outside and inside carnumberwindshieldin - I think it can work as carnumberExtra8 and carnumberExtra9.

The Holden is different
Extra2="pitbox"
Extra3="helmet"
Extra4="grille"
Extra5="rims"
Extra6="RIMPAINT"
Extra7="dash"
Extra8="windowsout"
Extra9="windshieldout"

The Nissan
Extra2="pitbox"
Extra3="helmet"
Extra4="grille"
Extra5="rims"
Extra6="RIMPAINT"
Extra7="dash"
Extra8="exWindow"
Extra9="inWindow"

This is because the cars were made over several years. 2020 mod we tightened it up.

Aye Flash, what's the naming convention when it comes to making a livery, I can't seem to get my window .dds to apply to the car, the body .dds works fine

@Craig - it became 9.06E - usually reflected in the graphic above of what car is which update. when 2020 cars come out the version numebr will be 20.0 or something like that.
