21 Divisions
577 Teams (every team with a reputation above 5000)
2 Cups

Teams are sorted into divisions purely by reputation. There are 20 teams in the Premier League and 24 teams in every other division. There is a qualification pool below the main divisions that you should not select to play for best results. It is there just to enable new teams to enter the main league.

There are two cup competitions. One covers every team from Premier League to Division Ten and the other covers every team from Division Ten to the qualification pool.

Each team retains its nationality so newgens will be created with the original nationality of their team.

Note: Select only England when starting a new game. Because teams have been moved to the World League most other nations will not work. In time I will try to make some other leagues playable with the remaining teams.

I have tested this for a few seasons but not extensively. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it please let me know

one thing i have noticed is that after only one season, several clubs only have foregneirs on their team, maybe if you put up some restricsions i dont know if this is possible since we are in england. but the hole thing kind of looses its charm when you play a team from say Bermuda and they dont have any bermudians in their hole squad. only a couple of regens in their youth team. maybe you can make restricions to have like 5 clubgrown players in the starting squad or something like that.

- On the subject of reputations, teams jump about all over the place. A team in Div 1 can be number one of the reputation charts and a team in Div 4 can jump into the top 5 after being 100 places lower down the previous season and without winning any competition. Are others experiencing this?

- Some teams are clearly not good enough for the league they are in. Since teams are sorted only by FM's reputation rating some teams plummet through divisions in consecutive seasons. Similarly, some teams rise consecutively because they are too good for where they start. Have others seen this and would it be better to fiddle with the starting teams a little?

- Any other problems that you've noticed please let me know. I would like to extend this considerably if it remains stable to include more teams, add competitions to make things more interesting, add special awards, and so on. All suggestions welcome

I'd like to get some feedback from people who are playing this to work out how it can be improved. 200 have downloaded from steam and presumably more from speedyshare.

I'm into my 4th season in charge of Sundowns (South Africa). I was promoted in my second season and then again in the third. It's been great fun but a few problems have emerged. None of them are game-breakers but I'm curious to see if they are just affecting me or others as well.

- I won the Lower League Cup in my first season without too much bother but have failed to progress past the 3rd round in subsequent seasons. I'm wondering if other teams were underestimating how important the cup is in the first season and so were giving my team an easy ride. In the second season the game could have adjusted reputations and teams might behave differently. How are you all getting on in cup competitions?

Hmm, not sure I have any control over that. Think it might be done by the reputation of the league. Could fiddle about with that and see if it makes a difference

Maybe every now and again a prematch pressconference? Playing with ajax and it doesn't seem to have any.
