LB&SCR L Class 4-6-4T/L2 Class 4-6-0

Description
London, Brighton & South Coast Railway B1 Class 0-4-2

This mod contains two locomotives - the LB&SCR L Class 4-6-4 Tank designed by Lawson Billinton, as well as the fictional 'L2' class, which was a proposed design by Billinton. When the first two engines of the L Class were ordered, one was a 4-6-4 tank engine, and the other was a 4-6-0 tender engine - however, shortly after the delivery of the 4-6-4T the order for the tender engine was changed to a tank engine as well. The L2 Class in this mod is essentially a hypothetical engine based on if delivery of that tender engine had succeeded, or been deemed necessary to suit the LB&SCR's needs.

UPDATE: Reduced overall mod file size, modified the LBSCR freight olive livery, moved the assets to a new LBSCR-dedicated menu and re-arranged the order that assets appear in the menu, and added a plain black BR livery, as well as a generic logoless black livery.

@Dourbracken: I mean its a balancing act. Time I spend fixing bugs is time Im not working on new content. And I know Im not on the same level as a lot of the modders out there, a lot of that is a skill limitation on my part due to being relatively new to this. So I dont want to exhaust my time fixing evrry minor issue. But at the same time I want my mods to look and function right too, and have a certain level of polish about them.

So Id say use your best judgement for the most part.

Awesome to see this fixed! I also wanted to ask about whether and how much you would like me and others to report bugs. Since I spend so much time with TF2, I can, if you want report every little thing I find, or I can continue only reporting about functional or relatively major visual issues. Thank you again for the amazing work!

UPDATE: Small fix to some misaligned textures and slightly reshaped the firebox on the L2. Minor stuff mostly.

Bumped the top speed to 131kph as well.

Welp, guess what happens when you can't sleep? Just uploaded an update that fixes the bogie issues with corners and an issue with the tender assets.

@Dourbracken: Thanks for the report! I always appreciate you and everyone bugtesting for me xP

There's an issue with the way I set up the file where the game is treating the L2's tender like a bogie to the engine. So its a straightforward, albeit somewhat fiddly fix.

However, I also want to make a change to the way the L class's bogies are handled by the files as well, since it's kind of having an issue on sharp corners where the driving wheels move out of place because of the way bogies work. So I'm going to set them up to handle like tenders as well.

The tl;dr of this is that it's going to take me a little logner to fix this than I originally hoped, so it'll be done in the next few days.

Thank you ever so much for the update! These liveries and coupling rods look great! However, I noticed that on tight turns, the driving wheels of the L2 come off of the rails somewhat, towards the inside of the turn; almost as if the leading bogies were leading the train not the driving wheels. Thank you for your time and attention.

UPDATE: Updated meshes, new liveries, new asset menu etc etc.

Also I didn't see Dourbracken's post from January until now weirdly, but its fixed now. :P

Great to see these return to TF2. I just wanted to let you know that as in the last iteration, the coupling rods are glitched on the L. The rods are not centered on the center of the wheel, so the coupling rods change their distance from that center. Just a minor graphical issue, more of an OCD thing than anything else. Thank you for all of your amazing work!
