Playing this in 2022...Crazy fun:
Stuck around the end where I have to link up w/ Viper Blue, but there's too many enemy RPG AIs spawning in the perimeter.
The thing gets blown up within 20 seconds of that 1st wave.
Only way of negotiating out of this is if I'm lucky enough for Heli CAS to hit the actual RPG guy among all others, but it just never happens.
Should have the option of passing that checkpoint if Viper Blue gets blown up, I even cleared the perimeter but couldn't move on mission-wise.
Anyways point taken might as well design a new mission at this point...Great job though!

Many thanks for the reply, Lexx. I would love to see her updated, but that's okay. Everything has its time. :)
Anyway, the mission still works very well and is good to play. Keep up the good work. Cya.

@Bairro: 1) Good question. While it actually was part of my original CSAT campaign, I guess it fell off my radar at some point. Maybe I felt the quality wasn't up enough anymore, because when playing it the last time, I noticed so many flaws and tiny things that annoyed me. It's pretty much the second A3 mission that I ever released, and it never got a necessary facelift. Honestly, at this point - and after all the official patches that broke so many things - I'm surprised it still works at all.
2) Yeah, I never got back to fix this. Don't know if I'm going to deal with it in the future, as like with the other missions, the codebase is pretty old and horrible by now. Probably would be easier to just write a new mission.

This scenario is excellent! It surprised me that you created it in 2013. Good work! The firefights are great and I feel like a squad leader. It's immersive!
I only have two questions for now. 1) Why is this scenario not in your "CSAT missions" collection? :)
2) In the end, I can see the FIA squadron spawning behind the house.

I'll keep playing to give you other feedbacks.

Cya.

I think you did a great work with this mission. Bravo!

Wonderful firefight, packed together with a heli insertion, CAS and armored support. You see, one good thing came out of the shitty Apex Protocol campaign - I could see your signature and find your missions!

Nice, nice. Short but enjoyable mission. This was the first mission I have played as CSAT. I like it. You should add another object after regrouping with the APC... like actually taking the city with the armor rolling with you through the streets. I saw a "? mortar" marker on the map but never heard any artillery fall. Also, the helo support wasn't really needed. Maybe if you added more than one armed MRAP then it wouldn't unbalance things so much.

Maybe part 2 can have the BTR coming back to the town to battle take it for good?

As for the talking about VAS bellow: it is not needed. Its not that type of mission. And for the creator: you could add some stuff to the weapon pool. That way you could pick from a small selection of stuff from the inventory button in the briefing section of the mission.
