I thought it was an issue on my end, mod conflict / PEBCAK. However I'm starting to wonder if I'm troubleshooting something thats simply not working at the moment hahaha. Thanks!
The idea is make windows glow from a distance to help mask out lights not rendering at a distance and to make sure ships and buildings windows are always lit at any distance, i guess it would be done by making the lod models glow but leaving the full upclose model as normal none emissive.
Just an idea would be kinda cool if any block could be told to be emissive from the block control pannel so we can tell any modded blocks to glow if we wanted. like some kind of emissive overide material or something
Im making a silly large ship(yes i know lol) My thinking is if i can set its weight to alot lower the game engine might handle it better
I am using a mod that adds large blocks like 10x10 plates so i can build using far less number of blocks total, its current block count is not too much more then the classic red but its the size of a star destroyer. these modded blocks have the proper weight that they would if they individual blocks. so the ships weight is.... yer
So i guess the question is dose its weight matter interms of engine performance, i feel like keen wouldnt expect ships to be this heavy and not account for it. whats your opinion on that?
Dropping ship weight a good thing or irrelivent?
