SuperMassive - Klime

Description
Adds blocks that let you directly change the weight of a grid. Mostly for the water mod

Blocks are "Massive Timer Large" and "Massive Timer Small"

To use, place the block on a grid, open the blocks custom data and enter a multiplier value. For example:

1.3

This will be value that the gravity is multiplied by. So in this case, the grid will weigh 30% more

Modifications can range from 0.0 to 100.0

UPDATE
: Now has terminal actions. Drag the block to your hotbar to see +0.1g and -0.1g options

ahhh, the old water mod. Fair enough, thanks for the quick response! Time to hunt for a similar function

This mod was made specifically for the old water mod, and its fairly janky. I would consider it obsolete.

Hello - I'm not able to get this to work anymore. Tried old worlds and new bare-bones worlds for testing. When you get a chance, could you verify if it still works for you, Klime? Custom data field updates when using toolbar inputs as expected, but "info" tab weight is not altered.

I thought it was an issue on my end, mod conflict / PEBCAK. However I'm starting to wonder if I'm troubleshooting something thats simply not working at the moment hahaha. Thanks!

Side note i have a mod idea, you have a nice collection so maybe this is something you might like the sound of or not :P

The idea is make windows glow from a distance to help mask out lights not rendering at a distance and to make sure ships and buildings windows are always lit at any distance, i guess it would be done by making the lod models glow but leaving the full upclose model as normal none emissive.

Just an idea would be kinda cool if any block could be told to be emissive from the block control pannel so we can tell any modded blocks to glow if we wanted. like some kind of emissive overide material or something

Can you only increase a grids weight with this or can you make a gird lighter then it actualy is
Im making a silly large ship(yes i know lol) My thinking is if i can set its weight to alot lower the game engine might handle it better

I am using a mod that adds large blocks like 10x10 plates so i can build using far less number of blocks total, its current block count is not too much more then the classic red but its the size of a star destroyer. these modded blocks have the proper weight that they would if they individual blocks. so the ships weight is.... yer

So i guess the question is dose its weight matter interms of engine performance, i feel like keen wouldnt expect ships to be this heavy and not account for it. whats your opinion on that?
Dropping ship weight a good thing or irrelivent?
