Manufacturers Expanded

Description
Revamped and Expanded all vanilla manufacturers. Since the manufacturers themselves are by default referenced in the game, all modification should apply immediately upon the game loading in new data.

All existing weaponry in a save should update with new values too.

All grades from:
Unknown -> Cross

Revamped to have a leveled scaling of damage multipliers and attack/defense modifiers, in addition to new models within certain manufacturers that applies 'alternative set of buffs (all attack, balanced, all defense).

In a sense it makes combat slightly harder and easier at the same time:
- Unknown weapons at the low end has greater debuff to stats, up to Ancient with so-so, and weaker damage output than usual, but at the high end nearly as good as early Catun gear.

- Starting at around Skeleton Smiths, buffs starts to be very high overall, meaning every NPC using one are boosted, and the damage output from Catun and above is slightly stronger, with the weight adjusted as well.

- At the highest point, is two additional Meitou models, and Meitou (default) itself is nerfed a little to allow 2 models to fit above, with the best possible model having +10 Atk/Def and really high damage multiplier for the Cross manufacturer with it's weight being high as well.

I have created a simple companion mod for this. It just makes broken blades unlock as a craftable grade as you unlock Basic Weapons Smithing.

I get that, but I am fairly certain at this point that the problem is still related somehow to the fact that game for some reason cannot figure out how to autogenerate the correct icons for the new weapon manufacturer you have created, and thus, there are no inventory icons for those weapons. I don't know why that is. Probably it is looking for an icon file that follows a specific naming format. Or something. I honestly do not know yet.

The rest of the mod is now working.

I don't change weapons, only grades.

After a little research, I believe the problem is most likely being caused by the fact that the icons are autogenerated for each weapon class. However, I don't yet know of an easy solution.

Also, I apologize for posting 1 zillion comments to your mod page, lol. I'm just very interested in perfecting the small problems with your manufacturer expansion because I feel it is fundamentally better than the others out there.

We're halfway there.

2D inventory images still aren't displaying, but if you purchase and equip a weapon, it now appears correctly in the 3D game world.

Could you tell me where in the FCS inventory images for items are specified?

Awesome - I will of course let you know if I see anything else.

I had one more thought while digging around in the weapon files - it would be nice to add a lore-friendly description of the Bluntwalker weapon manufacturer. I haven't played enough to write one yet, but I would be happy to offer one of my own when I feel comfortably versed enough in the world's lore to do so.

Thanks, updated the mod to fix this.

Yeah I think that might be the culprit then, copy and pasting lol.

(these are bluntwalker weapon model specifications)

I found the problem. I've pulled up the mod in the FCS. There is a problem with the models for:

Blunt Type 1, Blunt Type 2, Blunt Type 3.

Both the normal and texture map filename are missing leading zeroes (ie. Instead of "8_HI.dds" it should be "08_HI.dds")

This should fix the problem!
