Description
Feeling like having struck gold with the visual design of the Mammoth grader/harvester, but underwhelmed by its performance. I sought to remedy the issues in the previous truck such as: Prone to getting stuck, slow, external fuel storage needs, and more. At just under 9000PCU, this combo came to be.

Enter the WT616, "Arcturus". A truck designed to haul superheavy loads and trailers. With increased ground clearance, more horsepower thanks to its V16 Hydrogen engine and an overhaul of its drivetrain and and even easier maintenance access, the Arcturus is able to do just that. It can handle loads up to 2,000,000kg and more, it is no joke. Handles like a dream for a vehicle of its size and boasts no issues in either creative or survival use cases. Onboard survival kit ensures no shortage of spare parts (Access on the right side for inventory, terminal face underneath). Uses ICE as fuel, has 3 containers for it. 2 batteries for regular driving and 4 engines for recharging and power boost.

Comes equipped by default with the BD1157 belly dumper trailer with the carrying capacity of 1,157,000kg of ore, and easy unloading by gravity assisted dumping (26 Large Containers!). The BD1157 is an idiotproof solution to hauling tremendous amounts of ore from drill sites to refineries. Top loaded with collectors.

The idea for this build series is that I wanted to create something that would rival the venerable Boarhound series of builds by Const (You should definitely check them out, fantastic stuff) and bring some healthy competition for the superheavy hauler market ;) To pull trailers from their series you have to add an advanced rotor on the hitch of this truck to make up for the height difference.

Current lineup of modules for Arcturus:
-BD1157 Belly Dumper cargo trailer
-GPFT General Purpose Flatbed trailer
-HT-288 Hydrogen Tanker trailer
-MC-125T Mobile Crane add-on

... Sales pitch aside, this is one of my favorite creations in SE so far. Think it really came together this time mimicking a very possible, but fictive truck. Features working turn/stop lights, warning lights, simple use, trailer hitch, awesome looks ;) survival capabilities, rotating shaft and much more. DAS-script handles a lot of the handling and provides robust adaptability for the chassis and light control.

Edits:
E1: After going through the workshop I discovered another heavy haul truck named close to Colossus. As a result the truck system has been renamed "Arcturus". Hope this avoids confusion for early subscribers!
E2: To get the most out of this, two supplementary trailers are out! Look at the latest builds in the collection. A H2 Tanker and a GP Flatbed.
Hotfix 1: Oversight fixing, OH BOY A LOT OF IT. Reworked engine plumbing more streamlined, now enables access to survival kit proper so you can actually get large components out (previously only small conveyors could access). Cleaned K menu and returned missing batteries to trailer. See last picture for new engine layout.
E3: New "trailer", a mobile crane addon is out. To prep the truck for it, a very minor but important alteration was made to the truck: Removing the half-block corners from the ballast stack on the back of the truck.

Hope you guys enjoy, and if you find any problems or have feedback please let me know! Cannot stress this enough! :)

ok, thank you

It should not affect performance, but it will heavily alter the appearance. You'll need to substitute the cockpits with something else

Does it still run properly without having the decorative dlc 2?

is there a way to only have the truck part blue print for servers that done support multiple girds on the projector

@MultipedSet1963 All you have to do is replace the cockpit, the paint skins will just resort to either clean or dirty. :)

As you can see the cockpit is a DLC block so unfortunately as it stands, not without slight modifications. Some of the paints use DLC as well.

With a tiny bit of rework, yes. But directly out of BP no.

Is this able to be used without DLCs??

Yes, the DAS. It controls the wheel settings to allow dynamic adjustments based on weight and clearance and so, so much more. I noticed that front wheels don't turn much anymore when doing the crane addon. It should be full 6 wheel steering but it seems to severely limit the range of motion for no reason. I suppose you could just turn off the PB and manually alter the wheel values if you want it to turn tighter.

Cheers :) Its funny how its easier to drive it backwards then forward. I just keep driving it backwards all the time ^_^

Is there a way to switch between the which wheels steer and how they steer? I mean if i want it to steer like a normal truck with front wheels can i set a button to change the "drive mod"?

edit: to my understanding, its using script to control the wheels. Am i wrong?
