Hearthfire Quick-Build Materials Standard

Description
THIS MOD

If you have Hearthfire and you're like me, you like to build all the exterior additions and fancy decorations on your houses. But gathering the exact amount of materials to build everything from the smelter to the shrine of Talos can be tedious and even frustrating. This mod aims to help make the process easier.

With this mod, there are starter chests outside each of the Hearthfire houses stocked with enough matierals to build and furnish all constructable parts of each house.

Be aware, there are not enough materials to build the small house, furnish it, and then convert it to the entryway and furnish it again. To properly use up the materials, build the small house without furnishing it and convert it to the entryway as soon as possible, then furnish it. There are also no Sawn Logs included in the materials as they are not inventory items that can be stored and picked up.

For a version of this mod that doesn't add extra chests for the house wings, check out Hearthfire Quick-Build Materials Light: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199316443&searchtext=hearthfire+quick-build

COMPATIBILITY

Should be no problems with vanilla Skyrim.
Should be no problems with DLC.

If another mod is incompatible because it modifies the building chest, open the console and type [help "Enable Extra Chests"] without the brackets. This should show you a code for a spell called "Enable Extra Chests." Type in the console [player.addspell {code}] without brackets to give yourself this spell. Once this spell is used extra chests will spawn containing the same items as the primary chest. Load the other mod somewhere lower in the Data Manager and use this method in the game to enable the proper use of both mods.

FUTURE PLANS

I will be making changes to this mod if issues/bugs are brought to my attention in the comments.

At each of the Hearthfire homes, the new chests should be outside the house next to the workbench that you use to build the house. If they're not showing up it could be because of a conflict with another mod or something; I recommend checking out the Compatibility section of this mod's description.

Could you explain where the chests are though? Or show more pictures. I know its there, I just can't find where they are at

Your problem sounds like it could be because of another mod that might conflict with this one. You probably want to check out the big paragraph in my "Compatibility" section of the description. Other than that all I can really say is you should check your mod load order.

I realize that and I believe the scenerio falls under the heading "S**t Can and Will Happen", which falls right after "Murphy's Law". Oh BTW, I did find a descent guard mod so there might be hope for the Dragonborn's new house yet.

Yeah, I do recommend a guard mod since pests and bandits can be frustrating. But none of your problems are caused by my mod, just so you know.

You didn't mention any pest problems with this mod.
How does a house get Skeevers in it with a 3 day old basement? That sucks!
Just bought a horse, a cow, and 2 chickens and bandits come by and kill my horse and 1 of my chickens. Crap for luck or what.
I think I need a wall mod with guards to go with your mod.

@mc_rog46_sd1, thanks for the heads up. I tested it out in my game and I was able to build everything at Winstad Manor, so I think I know what your problem is. There are four chests at each house containing all the materials, and I believe the ones you are missing are in the chest labelled "Construction Chest". It could be that you simply forgot to check this chest, but it's also possible that this specific chest may not have loaded its inventory properly (for example, if another mod conflicts with this one). In either case the instructions in the description above for enabling extra chests should probably solve your problem. Please let me know if this helps you out.
