At each of the Hearthfire homes, the new chests should be outside the house next to the workbench that you use to build the house. If they're not showing up it could be because of a conflict with another mod or something; I recommend checking out the Compatibility section of this mod's description.
Zuuzukai 11 Jul, 2015 @ 3:16pm
Could you explain where the chests are though? Or show more pictures. I know its there, I just can't find where they are at
Bucko  [author] 8 Apr, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Your problem sounds like it could be because of another mod that might conflict with this one. You probably want to check out the big paragraph in my "Compatibility" section of the description. Other than that all I can really say is you should check your mod load order.

i cant find the chest for lakeview manor
BullBars1 23 Sep, 2014 @ 5:11pm
I realize that and I believe the scenerio falls under the heading "S**t Can and Will Happen", which falls right after "Murphy's Law". Oh BTW, I did find a descent guard mod so there might be hope for the Dragonborn's new house yet.
Bucko  [author] 23 Sep, 2014 @ 4:26pm
Yeah, I do recommend a guard mod since pests and bandits can be frustrating. But none of your problems are caused by my mod, just so you know.
BullBars1 18 Sep, 2014 @ 11:45am
You didn't mention any pest problems with this mod.
How does a house get Skeevers in it with a 3 day old basement? That sucks!
Just bought a horse, a cow, and 2 chickens and bandits come by and kill my horse and 1 of my chickens. Crap for luck or what.
I think I need a wall mod with guards to go with your mod.

@mc_rog46_sd1, thanks for the heads up. I tested it out in my game and I was able to build everything at Winstad Manor, so I think I know what your problem is. There are four chests at each house containing all the materials, and I believe the ones you are missing are in the chest labelled "Construction Chest". It could be that you simply forgot to check this chest, but it's also possible that this specific chest may not have loaded its inventory properly (for example, if another mod conflicts with this one). In either case the instructions in the description above for enabling extra chests should probably solve your problem. Please let me know if this helps you out.
mc_rog46_sd1 5 Aug, 2014 @ 10:17am
Thanks for this mod. Without it I most likely would not take the time to gather the necessary materials to build the houses.
However, just to let you know, I did come up short on stone, slaughterfish scales, large antlers, nails, hinges, glass and all the amulets for Winstad Manor. Lakeview Manor had a surplus of some items, but had everything to finish.
And no I did not furnish the small house before converting it to the entryway.

Buzzerker 24 Apr, 2014 @ 12:18pm
Hearthfire Houses you say? I thought there was only one you could make over by the river with the journal and everything , I have Hearthfire but I haven't ever built anything because it seemed like it would take too much effort just to gather all the material to do so. Now it will be easier and I guess I will give it a try. Thank you for this mod

I thank you one million times for creating this mod! It is awesome and fixes that stupid bug that won't show Windstad Manor after building it, everything works as you said and no conflicts on my end I have 188 mods 64 of which are from the workshop and the rest from Nexus. Thank you again! :)

Sorry for the slow response @Friday the Thirteenth. I've uploaded an update to this mod that should help with compatibility. I'm not sure it will fix issues with all other mods, but it should fix the issue you mentioned. Read through the Compatibility section of the mod description to see how to enable the changes.

In case you can't tell...I'd call that an "issue/bug"
Friday the Thirteenth 12 Dec, 2013 @ 7:33pm
Dammit....your mod conflicks with More Plants and Recipes for Hearthfire, which adds more alchemy ingredients to the main construction chest.
Heroic Ryan 12 Dec, 2013 @ 5:56pm
Thanks :D
Bucko  [author] 12 Dec, 2013 @ 4:13pm
Yes, sorry if I didn't clarify that before. All the Hearthfire houses should have the chests with extra materials.
Heroic Ryan 12 Dec, 2013 @ 9:45am
so this applies to ALL of the houses and not just lakeview, correct?
Bucko  [author] 9 Dec, 2013 @ 4:27pm
@simpson20782, thanks for the heads-up on the bug. Turns out it was a silly mistake on my part, and it should be fixed now. As always, let me know if you find any more issues.
simpson20782 9 Dec, 2013 @ 3:16pm
At Lakeview Manor there are 2 north chests and the spelling on them are norht instead of north
apple.snowsong-voice actress 8 Dec, 2013 @ 6:26am
Awesome! Thanx! :D:
Bucko  [author] 7 Dec, 2013 @ 5:25pm
With this mod enabled, there should be four chests total at each property. The original one (which I believe you are talking about) and one new chest each for the East, North, and West Wings you can build.

Let me know if you have issues with any of them not appearing and I'll see if there's anything I can do to help.
Katie Trotto 7 Dec, 2013 @ 5:20pm
Is there more than one chest for each place? I'm working on a home and I opened the chest, made the small house fine and didn't furnish it. Where would I get materials to build the next piece?
Bucko  [author] 7 Dec, 2013 @ 3:53pm
Yes, this mod is made to go along with the Hearthfire DLC, which you can buy from the store page for Skyrim here on Steam.
Epoch 7 Dec, 2013 @ 2:58pm

A great mod for those of us who have played through the headache, and now just want the house! Once trying to wait on my hauscarl to furnish my mansion was enough. Now, I'm just content to have a nice house fo0r the spouse.
"Holes" by Louis Sachar 5 Dec, 2013 @ 7:30am
THANK YOU its such a pain collecting every piece from every store around the country
Wolf_King 29 Nov, 2013 @ 10:56pm
cool, thanks!
Bucko  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 9:07pm
Because I was so bored today, one request was actually all I needed. Enjoy the update, and let me know if there are any issues with it.
Wolf_King 29 Nov, 2013 @ 11:33am
great mod! consider this request number one for those extra materials too!
