Buildable tac op units (all races)

Description
All races get their tac op units (not the immobile ones) unlocked for production when the tac op is researched. The Amazons get penguins instead, unlocked with Nourishing Field Pylon.

This mod has been updated with the release of Star Kings to include the Shakarn (Sleeper Agent) and the Oathbound (Warlord).

I know Melvin Junko and ReverseRaven were making these, but there are a few key differences:

1. The Amazons get penguins in this version, as they don't have a mobile summon in the base game. This also gives them a reliable source of animal units.
2. The units have tech requirement. These units are a small cut above the other racial T2s and it's more balanced to have them arrive a little later.
3. Their unit type (Skirmisher/Specialist) and their Prime bonuses have been reassigned to be more appropriate for their roles, since the base game had no reason to think too hard about them.

Notes:
The Sapper no longer has the Cumbersome tag.
The Sleeper Agent is priced as a T1 unit and requires lower tech than the rest.

I haven't updated this for months, and to my knowledge planetfall hasn't been significantly changed either, which makes things weird... One thing you can try is unsub, make sure steam has deleted it, and resub. If that doesn't work I can try to recompile and upload again.

Heya. Sorry to spring this on you all of a sudden, but game is telling me I have an old version of this mod. I'm subscribed, so I figured it should be downloading the latest version automatically, but it seems not to be the case. How would I go about updating?

Ive been working on trying to get the Oathbound Marquis as a unit...still having issues.

Thank you, that's a great help. I thought they'd be on the ColonyUpgrades.rpk and I'd have to add units to a structure in there.
This should really point me in the right direction though so cheers for the help :D

Made a mistake in the previous comment: the Valkyrie isn't named differently in the editor, but there are other name confusions: Vanguard is sometimes named Human or Expeditionary Warfare, Synthesis is sometimes named Artificial.

Yeah sure

Most of these make their changes in a single rpk, e.g.
Units_SpeciesShakarn.rpk

To make the unit show up for production, add it in
Settings > Shakarn - Unit Link Data > Shakarn > Units
If you can't find it, it could be named differently in the editor (like the Valkyrie). Offrace units would be in a different rpk. Add the reference under Content > Resource Packs (topbar).

The rest is in the unit's individual page, e.g.
Entities > Shakarn Units > Shakarn Sleeper Agent
where you can modify stats and abilities. Building requirement is under the Building section. "Required Player Property Link" is for tech - fill in something the tech unlocks (easy) or edit the tech to grant a new player property (hard). "Required Structure Property Link" is generally used for barracks, under "Structure Upgrades: City - Units".

Haven't played around with adding it to landmarks - your best bet is to look for elysium parks/tyre's tomb in the files and see how they do it.

Awesome thanks for the update mate, love these units so it's a shame that in the base game they're restricted to ops.
Also can you tell me what resource packs you changed in the editor and how you did it. I'm trying to make a mod that adds unit unlocks to silver and gold structures but can't figure it out.
