Midas Suite

This mod contains a variety of spells relating to gold, either creating it or transmuting other materials into it. Original credit for the mod goes to |SPQR| Teok; I've merely uploaded it to the Steam Workshop with a few tweaks and added a new spell of my own, as I thought it was too fun not to share.

Spells originally in this mod:
• Circle of Gold: Creates an expanding circle of gold around the caster.
• Sea of Gold: Creates a sea of gold below the caster.
• Shower of Gold: Creates a cloud above the caster which rains gold.
• Gold Trail: Projectiles leave a trail of shimmering gold.
• Gold: A basic material creation spell, creates a pixel of gold.
• Blood to Gold: Particle modifier which transmutes blood around the particle into gold.

Spells added by me:
• Touch of Midas: Turns everything within a very short radius into gold, except creatures.

Perks added by me:
• Golden Blood: Causes you to bleed gold.

These spells are obviously not particularly balanced with the original game, they're just for fun. The spells shown in the GIFs are: Blood to Gold, Circle of Gold, (Material:) Gold, Sea of Gold, Shower of Gold, Touch of Midas, and Trail of Gold.

I'm also aware now that Touch of Midas basically copies the in-game spell Touch of Gold; I'd never actually seen that spell in over 150 hours of playing the game at the time I made Touch of Midas, and I've decided to leave it in since the vanilla spell is so incredibly rare.
August 5, 2020: Touch of Midas has been completely revamped, and now functions more like Chainsaw (low mana cost, negative recharge time, small radius), with the biggest change being that it now no longer hurts entities. So you can use it to dig your way through obstacles without fear of instant death, but you can't turn your enemies to gold with it anymore (the vanilla spell Touch of Gold still exists, however).

Also, pro tip: gold dust which touches lava very quickly melts down into more lava, so be very careful when casting some of these spells around lava, especially Circle of Gold or Sea of Gold. I may or may not have once killed myself by casting Circle of Gold in an enclosed space with a few drops of lava and getting melted by a rapidly-growing circle of lava I couldn't outrun…
