Undying Husky Companions (Dawnguard Version)

Requirements:
Skyrim Update 1.9.32.0.8
Dawnguard DLC

Tired of having your Armored Husky Companions die because they get in your way when trying to kill the enemy? I know I am. Now you don't have to worry about them dying from the stray fireball or crossbow bolt. They are now able to continue the fight even after taking massive punishment. PETA cannot complain that the Nords of Skyrim treat their animals unethically.

Found in Fort Dawnguard.

To get them to follow you first you have to be allied with the Dawnguard and complete Dawnguard Main Quest: A New Order.

Only Bran and Sceolang are essential.

It is advised that this mod be in the last slot in the load order so that the information contained is not overwritten by any other mod that alters the Dawnguard Master File.

Welp Sceo died in a past fight with a spriggan matro and the only one left is Bran. Poor thing is the only one left. So in order for this to kick I have to finish the DawnGaurd? My last pooch! Can't take any chances..

Here's how to make a dog essential (Sceolang for example):
1.) ~
# make sure nothing is selected, you souldn't see any Ref or BaseID in your console window
2.) help "sceolang"
# this will return the BaseID number
3.) SetEssential <BaseID> 1

Guys If any of you want to save bran by making him essential the code is (setessential 0201AA74 1) No brackets and i think sceolang is (setessential 0301AA78 1) seriously no mod for this work and i kinda got irritated so hope this helps anyone....

I completed the quest, placed the mod at the end of the load list but they still aren't marked as essential, do you think you could fix this? :)

it was working for me but when i joined the imperials it broke the only reason why i got this is because i didnt want scelong to die because every time she dies i tear up and start to cry so just fix this freaken mod already
