This mod increases the rat's Trainable Intelligence from 'None' to 'Intermediate', allowing Rats to be trained to guard their master and attack enemies.

Things this mod does:

Increase the humble Rat's trainability from 'None' to 'Intermediate'

Things this mod does not do

Tamper with any of the Rat's other stats like DPS, Wildness[rimworldwiki.com], Nutrition etc.

A worthy side note:
Rats have a minimum comfortable temperature of -30°C [-22°F], making them perfect for using corpse freezers. Recycle those raiders!

Q: Can I add this to an existing save?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I remove this from an existing save?
A: Yes, you can, but any trained rats will keep their training until it decays.

I have created an industrial sized rat farm, and a hotel to feed people these rats. I am selling thousands upon thousands of rats turned into lavish meals each day.
my defense force? literally thousands of rats.
I have so many rats that I don't even need to feed them, they can just eat the quantities of rat meat that I produce.

Any chance this works with 1.6, my disabled son really wants trainable rats lol. I'll learn how to do it myself if I have to and someone can point me in the right direction to instructions on learning how to code for Rimworld lol. Can't let my son down!
