Stellaris Performance Mod - DDS Potato Edition

Description
For Stellaris 3.4

NOTE: THIS IS A STAND ALONE MOD. IT WILL WORK WITH OR WITHOUT THE REQUIRED ITEM.

ONLY USE ONE TYPE OF DDS TWEAK, POTATO OR STANDARD, LINK BELOW

CURRENT VERSION: 5
-For Stellaris 3.4.*

Features
-this mod is almost similar with the DDS Tweak, the only difference is that this mod has been done using 5 passes. Meaning, a 2048px texture is converted to 64px, hense the "potato edition"
-Every dds file EXCEPT the file on the, SYSTEM_MAP and UI Folder has been modified by ONLY 2 pass. (This is to ensure you can still see the game abit better, 2 passes is the same as standard DDS tweak version)
-Portraits NO LONGER INCLUDED on the modified dds.

Example: A DDS is 2048x2048 is converted into 1024x1024 (1st pass) then reconverted again to 512x512 (2st pass), then 256x256 (3rd pass) then 128x128 (4th pass) and finally converted to 64x64 (5th pass).
For the Portraits: They are only converted with 1 pass. (if 2048px, converted to 1024px)

File Size Comparison: Vanilla (with all dlc) and this:
-Vanilla = 7.34GB. That's 7.34 Gigabytes of pure DDS files, no models included, just pure texture files.
-This Mod = 14.6MB That's only 14.6Megabytes of pure DDS files, The visual will take a MASSIVE hit BUT textures will be easier to be loaded and unload by the game engine as well as the cpu/gpu and ram, giving you more fps and/or more threads to load other nessasary proccesses like lategame pop jobs and such.
-YES, the reason why its 100+ mb difference from the previous version of the mod is because of the Portraits file, starting on v5 of this mod, Portraits will no longer be covered.

DLC Support:
-all dlc covered including Aquatic and Overlord

Mod Compatibility
-Any mod is compatible to this, this include mods like Human Variants, Remastered Human Portraits and such

Mod Load Order
-This mod load order does not matter. BUT if you want to make the mods above compatible, LOAD THEM AFTER this MOD.

Elnor: This or the Standard DDS Texture tweak, not both. if you want to increase fps in genral, the SPM will do. If you need more FPS, get one of the DDS texture Tweak, if you want an fps boost on the galaxy, get the Galaxy tweak.

All of my mods will be updated before this month ends. While the performance mod works just fine, they wont cover newly added dlcs and such.

bat592: Oh, it's the DDS Texture Tweak version.

That is considered standard edition and this one is the Potato edition.

Please excuse me, I found no link to the "...Standard Edition."

Updated. Tested out twice, no longer getting that bug but the main menu background i got is the one from the latest dlc. (SO i can really confirm if its fully fix for the federation main menu and apoc)

If any other bug exist, pls tell me.

Fjölnsviðr: yeah. I've already taken note of that as ive use the same file on the standard dds for the background and system. So im sure that bug also exist on the standard version. I'll redo it within the day.
