Description
Turok Sanctum Mirror [turoksanctum.com]

Using a combination of sounds from the original PC version (extracted using an obscure Russian comandline tool), and aif files included with the leaked N64 source code, I made this thing which vastly improves the quality of the sounds.

Not all sounds from the PC version were included as the compression used there honestly makes some sounds (like a few bird calls here and there) sound absolutely horrible, and some were just the 11k sounds.

Pointless Fun Fact: The original PC version when set to play 22k sounds plays the wrong sound for the bow when shot. This has nothing to do with the code, as the file itself is wrong.
TL;DR I am a nerd :(

To enable the mod permanently and without the need for the game editor, download the mod file from the Non-Steam mirror link in the discussions:

Create the folder "mods" in your Turok game folder and copy the .kpf file into it and the mod should be loaded automatically. :winter2019happybulb:
(Naming the folder "Mods" won't work.)

If anyone is confused on how to activate Turok workshop mods. To enable them you have to open the Turok game editor from steam. Then you select workshop items at the top right. Next you highlight the mods you want to use and click the play button at the top left.

Not really. Not all sounds were ported over due to them somehow sounding worse than their 11k equivalents.

grinder3.wav doesnt exist in the original files (game.kpf), will this automically be used and was unused before?
